So none of the reviews said this but this is extremely heavy! 55kg! All similar safes are upto 25kg and in fact this item is liated as that exact weight. This makes this item unusable. Its impossible to lift upstairs or safely install..In fact if you add weight to it... it might just go through your floor! The delivery woman looked well miserable too attempting to lift this huge item. Going back for a refund and will look for a normal weight safe. We all hurt our backs just trying to get it inside and open it. Dangerous!

After my sister lost her home in a fire I decided I needed a safe place for passports wills photos etc. This safe is perfect. Plenty of space. Heavy duty framework and digital keyboard for locking very easy to use. Perfect fit in a cupboard out of sight.

This product is designed more for profit than effectiveness. We bought in Jan 2019 via Amazon and one digit on the touchpad failed earlier this year rendering it unable to be opened and therefore useless. We contacted the supplier who confirmed it was out of warranty and shrugging their shoulders told us they was nothing they could do. Again useless. Ended up having to open it up with an angle grinder which incidentally took less than 20 minutes. Yale should be ashamed of marketing such a shoddy product. It reflects really poorly on their brand and the number of disaffected customers it produces should surely cause them to reconsider their product design approach which is clearly failing. So if you want a product that fails after two years, where you can throw your £300 down the drain buy this one. If you prefer something fit for purpose DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I bought this safe and I'm pleased with it. I must say at first I was disappointed with the instructions because it was a single sheet with limited information in lots of languages, but I did set it up ok. I also contacted Yale customer services to ask what would happen if the code was forgotten or if I pass away and someone else needed to gain access to the safe. Just send them proof of purchase and the serial number and they will assist. So now I'm happy with it and their service is excellent.

Was excited to get this safe on time, but due to some miscommunication with the distributors (not the reseller), I've deducted half star. The other half star deduction is due to the safe space inside being slightly (by about 2cm) smaller than I required. I have important paperwork that I've placed in the safe, but as its a little small, I've had to stand my paperwork up, increasing the placement of the inner shelf and thus, reducing the availability of space for the shelved items. Would have been better if Yale actually did some research and realised that a couple of centimeters would enable people to store important and irreplaceable paperwork properly without fear of damage.However, that being said, the safe is definitely worth 5 stars. It's modern, heavy, secure and makes one feel like a gangster storing guns and drugs. There is a key hanger on the inside of the door, a slide out tray on the top for valuables like passports, and an adjustable tray to suit your needs. I've managed to store all of my valuables with a little bit of room still. I've recommend this safe to my folks, folks in law and brother too. For £250, it's worth the piece of mind. And for additional security, this safe also comes with secure bolts and screw plugs. I've yet to have them screwed in, but at 50kg, it's difficult to lift as the safe surface is smooth and therefore, no grip available.

Great product. Easy to set up. If batteries go flat you can attach a 9-volt battery to access with usual security code. Extremely heavy, not made of tin sheet like most safes.

This safe was great for two years and then the touch-pad failed leaving us with no way to get into it i.e. no key or otherwise to over-ride. Yale customer support (now there is a contradiction in terms!) failed to respond to requests for help. Luckily I have been able to find someone else to enable us to get into the safe; good thing we were not going on holiday as we would not have been able to access our passports or other key documents for several weeks. Needless to say the replacement will not be without a key over-ride and certainly will NOT be from Yale.
