Beam Splitter

This stuff is great. Best bang for your dollar for the size container they give you. It’s the best look to accent your DJ lights. The fog thickness is perfect. The fog hangs around for a quite some time! Super easy to use and clean up if you spill, it’s not like the oil based stuff. I go through a lot of it during the Halloween season so I’m sure it has good longevity for storage. The gallon size will go a long way for the average user. It has a good durable cap and container. Fun for any size party.

Works perfectly with my Hurricane Haze 4D! Produces a smooth, professional-quality haze that spreads evenly and looks great on stage. Reliable, easy to use, and excellent performance — highly recommend for any haze setup.

Updated review: We've now been using this for a year and a half with our Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 1DX. Couldn't ask for better. Good hang time, very nice effect. No scent or residue and we've never had any patrons complain about it, even when we lay it on thick. It really brings your lights to life, and in our case it does a good job of diffusing the red/blue lights we use into the pink/purple vibe we are going for. One fill of the 1DX lasts all night (5 hours) on medium with quite a bit left to spare. We probably get 4-5 events out of one gallon. June 2025 update: Still working great, as is the haze machine.

Always great quality haze fluid for our church production!

During the Covid lockdown I spent a lot of time trying to learn about the best current offerings of fog machines and haze machines and the right kind of fluid to go with one of these. I selected the ADJ "Volcano" as I had read some reviews here suggesting a water-based haze fluid could be used with that machine. (Note, some reviewers say yes, some say no, some say use only the fluid recommended by the manufacturer, some say it is all a pretty similar use ingredients. I took the chance with this haze fluid and really glad I did!) - I have several lasers and simply wanted to have the haze effect to really enjoy the light beams indoors. The Volcano fog machine using "Froggys Fog Beam Splitter" did the trick nicely. (It produces a volcanic blast effect with what looks like a huge burst of steam going right up to the ceiling where it then disperses gently and begins to fill the room). The smoke alarms did not go off. It was not unpleasant to breath the air, barely noticeable in my opinion. After 6 or 7 blasts the light haze effect was perfect around the room (L. 35 feet by W. 20 feet x H. 11 feet) and lasted a good 15 or 20 minutes with the air-conditioning running. (I left a similar review for the Volcano since this product along with the "Beam Splitter" formula turned out to be a great combination!)

Bought this after trying all different kinds of haze fluid that we could buy locally and getting frustrated with the poor results I was seeing. This stuff is fantastic! No problems clogging up the Hazer and a great base to show off our lights. It spreads and hangs evenly and separates the light beams. For any one using intelligent lights, this is the way to get the most out of your investment.

I recently purchased a Marq Haze 800 DMX hazer. I had been using a small fog machine for some time but this is my first hazer and I wasn't sure what brand to go with so I bought the Beam Splitter haze juice based on the reviews here on Amazon and used it for a show a couple days later. I was very pleased with the hang time and my drummer commented that it was not bothering him at all, breathing wise (it was aimed into the corner near him to most evenly fill out the stage with haze). While I can't speak for any other brand at this point as this is the only one I've tried, I CAN say this worked really well and I would recommend to anyone who isn't happy with whatever they are using now. I may try the Chauvet brand at some point (being 1/3rd less expensive), but it's good to know that this is available and works every bit as good as is claimed.
