Just recieved this radio shipped to me from Anysecu in China. Radio looks and feels great but performance lacks in multiple areas. Contacting vendor for support (AnySecu) is futile as all of their responses have been elementary and somewhat insulting. The radio programming software provided on their website is problematic and works somewhat if and when it wants to. Anysecu response to this is to use the Bluetooth app on IOS or Android to program radio, Those apps are just as buggy as the software and are cumbersome and sloppy to use. The radio also does not scan programmed channels as advertised and I am unable to get any support from the vendor about this issue. Searching online for a resolution to this issue just verifies that this is a known issue and people are waiting on a possible firmware upgrade to resolve this issue. What a nightmare, as a licensed radio operator with over 40 years experience I never ever had this type of issue when buying a radio in this price range. $140 for a useless paperweight is not what I expected regardless of where it comes from.

I returned this thing immediately . Radio read and wrote fine on a PC. The bluetooth app is junk. Nothing on multiple devices would persuade the app to see the radio at all. Gave up. (android)Radio does not honor Motorola reverse burst IOW even in PL the squelch tail is horribly long.Listener fatigue city.On top of that, when I open the squelch it's not a full noise, it's as if a weak birdie is trying to get through. That did it, returnedit and good riddance!

the radio is shipped with no instructions to assist in programing the radio forcing use of frequency mode if you ever want real use of the system. For this price range my B-Tech pro out shines it in every possible way except output power.

The housing feels like radios costing 10 times as much. It was a hit at a recent training session. Everyone wanted to pick it up. Having 30 zones to organize your frequencies is a plus. Large display and the top channel selector is good. The only negatives are the speaker microphone connection is a proprietary USB-C. Also, the supplied antenna is a large top loaded unit that works very well, but is too big for normal use. Get a Nagoya 701 and trim the base plastic off.

I love this little radio it will get the job done!!! What I dis liked it wasnt the radio but the radio didnt come with a users owners manual. Its still a great little radio and I enjoy fooling with it. Its a different setting each time I fool with it. A great little radio!!! Kurt.Thienes.

It took three days. I thought it would take a lot longer, but it was here in three days. Awesome radio quality durability really nice. Great customer support. I’d recommend buying one of these radios from this seller. I will probably buy another one.
