Proven over time.
I've used Redex for a long time, mostly in diesel cars as I went back to petrol recently. My previous Mercedes C220 diesel was only run on premium fuel with Redex used every second fill up. Parted with it after over 100K miles, not because I had to but because my son lives in an LEZ zone (could rant about that nonsense but won't). I drove diesel cars for over 20 years and have always used Redex. Never had any issues and not a single engine light or DPF filter problem. My employer has diesel issues with every car because he buys the cheapest fuel available and does short journeys. My advice is, petrol or diesel, buy the best fuel and use Redex as often as you can. Premium fuel already has additives but there's no harm in a belt and braces approach to motoring. Works for me.

My car enjoys a dollop of REDEX!
I always use REDEX petrol treatment in our 2010 1.4l Astra. I believe it keeps the engine and fuel injectors clean and improves exhaust emissions. Indeed, I have used it regularly in all my cars over 30+ years.Thus far the Astra has sailed through every MOT and, fingers crossed, it will this year! Also, I recently changed the spark plugs (after 3 years) but the old ones were actually very clean and in excellent condition. I presume the REDEX helped in that regard.We just add the recommended dollop of REDEX every time we fill up with petrol. I add a tad more and go for a decent run just before an MOT.Getting 4x 500ml bottles, makes this an economical exercise. Indeed, that works out at less than £1.25 for every tankful of petrol. Personally, I am very pleased.
