These double flush cutters are easy to use. Fit well in your hand and provide the perfect cut. Very easy to use.

This cutter does what it says: it provides smooth, straight edges on both sides of a cut. At first it seemed as though the edges would need filing, but when I joined them for jump rings, I couldn't find anything rough to file. As the picture shows, the ends of the pliers are stubby, so they don't fit into very small places and can't cut through coils that make smaller jump rings. I'm thrilled to have cutters that make both cut edges easy to use. If it doesn't say "double flush," and you don't have $60-$70 to spend on cutters, you're only going to get one straight edge. These cut double flush.UPDATE: Like others before me, I forgot to avoid larger gauge wire (20) and killed them. Stay with thinner wire, maybe 22 gauge and above.

I couldn't use these because, while they did cut my wire, it wasn't exactly a clean flush cut. It left a little dent on either side. I was so sad to have to return these.

I bought these because I was looking for a double flush cutter and these were a great price to try it - I've seen some that are over $50 and didn't want to spend that much at this time. (I don't know if those work either). These work as a regular flush cutter, but I still would have to trim one end of what I'm cutting. I was looking for a tool I could cut jump rings with but wouldn't have to trim them, and this did not help any more than my regular flush cutters. I would look at more expensive options (and see if they work based on reviews). These are ok for regular flush cutters though.

These work fairly well and give you a very nice flush surface when used correctly. Because of the design necessary for having a flush surface on both ends, these flush cutters tend to bend apart when cutting pieces thicker than 18 gauge. I recommend these to anyone who is working smaller wires and would let to spend less time making sure both surfaces are cut perfectly. If you're looking to cut really thick wires, you might need to grab some normal flush cutters.

Many jewelry cutters are advertised as flush cutters but many are not. This one is a true flush cutter. A good price and a well-made tool.
