I used these to replace my fluorescent shop lights. I now feel like I'm working on my car on the surface of the sun. These things are super Duper bright. They are also not affected by cold weather like my shop lights were. The only thing I wish is that there was a way to hardwire them in instead of having to replace the junction boxes outlets.

The Sunco UFO lights were really easy to install. I used a U bolt large enough to fit around the trusse of my shop through the eyelet provided with the lights. I wired my receptacles to a switch and just plugged the lights into the receptacle mounted on the trusse. This will make future replacements if needed much easier than hard wiring. In my 30x60x12 metal shop I installed 12 lights. Probably would have enough light with just 6-8. No buzzing or blinking like with others I have used in the past. Have not used them for very long yet so hard to say how they last but they look, and feel like they are built to last.

I bought these to better illuminate my garage but have not actually hung them there yet. I did, however, test them in the workroom of my basement and they really put out an immense amount of light which is exactly what I was looking for. The construction of these lights seems very robust and NOT cheap. If I find more places to hang these, I will have no hesitation about purchasing more of these lights.

Description picture makes it look a lot brighter than they really are. So instead of just needing six I’m actually going to have to order six more for my shop which is a 40 x 60 shop. All in all I think they are some great lights that’s why I’m going to order the six more needed to complete my project.

FABULOUS, but wish they had a dimmer control, too.
