There are two types one light plastic and the other a little stronger. The stronger was more durable but both did the job!!

We keep these ponchos in our bags, just in case of emergency. Both types are obviously lightweight, but I prefer the larger ones as they have a nicer texture (almost fabric-like) and feel more robust. For what they are I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I am pleased with these and intend to keep some in the car in case of break down or after unexpected rain on a day trip, I also think I’m going to pop a couple in my hand bag in case of emergency as well as they are really small and compact. For the price I think these are worthwhile, they work out at £1.60 ish each which is a lot cheaper than you would get in a shop on a rainy day. They seem of reasonable quality, you may be able to reuse them, it would depend on the wind I would think.Overall I would recommend

Ever since visiting Peppa Pig World without raincoats I have kept a stack of ponchos in the boot should the occasion arise to need them. This set of ten 'Artbisons Disposable Family Rain Waterproof Ponchos' is clever as you get enough to last at least a couple of day trips.The word disposible suggests that they will not last forever and they will not, they are meant to be one and done, but with some careful folding you can use them again. They are essentially colourful binbags fashioned to fit. Six are for adults and four for kids, the design is slightly different and it is easier to get the kids in their than try and put them in an adults.The plastic is not thick, but it does not have to be as it keep the rain off in an emergency. We loved the range of colours that you get. The packets are tiny so even if you have a large family you can easily carry up to all six in a bag with you alongside the emergency drinks, snacks and game consoles.

I received all these ponchos in a small bag. I opened one small one and one larger one. It appears the small bag contains rain covers that are a thinner material and the larger bag has those that are a more substantial fabric. Both will be adequate at keeping unexpected rain off a person and the thicker one will provide a little wind proofing too. Of the two I looked at, both had a drawstring hood and open sleeves. They are small enough and light enough to fit in a pocket or bag and I will definitely be taking some with me on a family holiday and leaving one at work for unexpected rain. Happy to recommend.

Save yourself some money buying them whilst you are at gift shops of places like zoos and amusement parks where they are normally 3x the price of these.Perfect for quick use and can actually be folded back up well and be reused despite saying 'disposable' these are definitely more than quality enough to be reused.Good value currently £1.60 each and at a local zoo we went to yesterday they were selling them for £3.99 each so a good saving by taking yours with you, and they really don't take up much space if you only want a couple.
