My wife made this purchase and at the time, I kinda rolled my eyes and said, "Okay, if it makes you happy." Well, it has made ME happy too! lol. The little water reservoir is a really cool design that is effective at keeping my food from drying out. Easy to clean and work with. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this to cover my food when I warm it up in the microwave, it works well and keeps food moist but the handle keeps coming off. That’s the only downside of this product otherwise this works great.

The handle broke in less than 4 months. Not understanding the design there is a flimsy piece of plastic for a handle with a tiny plastic clip that is supposed to support the weight of the cover and does not. Every time the cover is picked up, the handle was stressed. On occasion, the handle would unclip. At first it was easy to clip it back in. Not this time. The clip broke off completely. No way to repair or replace. I wanted to love this. I honestly do not recommend this product.

I typically use the heating mode and it seems to do the job as my food does not dry out. Changing the water is simple but I would hold off on emptying it right after taking it out of the microwave. The surrounding flow channel can be a little finicky. It usually stays in place but sometimes I find myself wrestling this flow channel if it comes apart.

Stopped using the microwave for a long time because the food was dried out, hard and just all around in edible.I Ordered the microwave cover and have welcomed back the use of the microwave again. The food comes out evenly cooked. And the steaming portion keeps the food soft and moist. I did struggle sometimes with larger plates. But overall, I thoroughly enjoy cooking with this.

This food cover is very nice and very sturdy. It’s a little bigger than the circle glass in my microwave, but I don’t let that stop me from using this! I put water into it when we use it then dump it back out when I’m finished (and put it in the dish strainer to dry out when I’m done with it). It is such a sturdy piece of plastic material. It works great, and I LOVE this food cover! It’s easy to wash and easy to store in the microwave when you’re not using it. It’s a little more expensive than most food covers, but honestly the material of it is worth the few extra dollars.

a microwave cover for food that adds water to retain moisture in food? excellent idea! it works well and i was so happy to receive it!!! it is a bit flimsy if it isn't locked in completely with the bottom rim, but other than that its good. it has come apart a few time, but it's easy to put back together!
