I gave this product 1 star for its smell. It's a soft pleasant smell that I think anyone would like. Aside from that I did not like this product. I put this on my roots and scalp as instructed while my hair was wet. When it dried, it really dried. My hair was hard like I had put gel in it. I combed my hair and styled as usual but my hair feels very coarse, dry and heavy. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

By far the best hair gel non greasy no weight product for thin hair I have ever tried (and smells great) , This company went out of business .It's really too bad I can find it anywhere .

I have used a dozen different products to style my fine thinning hair , most have been a waste . This is the best stuff i use and never leave home without it ,Secret with this stuff is use very little , it goes a long way . If you use a lot it can get a little sticky .Good thing i stocked up on these when Walgreen's was clearing them out at $2 a bottle cause just like everything else i like either the company went out of business or they discontinue everything i like :( . I called the 1-800 number and there gone . I wonder if anyone knows of a similar product out there ???Shampoo's have also been a pain trying to find what works well and not paying $20 a bottle . Fat Hair thinning shampoo you can get for about $8 , best stuff you can buy , I've tried many $20 bottles and through my money away . The best shampoo i ever used was Sebastian body thick-in shampoo which is discontinued as well . I was lucky to find a little "save a lot" shop that had a few bottles remaining so hopefully they will last a couple years . I don't get why they stop making stuff that works and there is a demand for it , does not make any sense .

I started using this product less than a week ago, and already I can see the difference. Like the first reviewer, I put the product on my scalp on clean towel-died hair. The first few times I did end up with stiff hair after it dried. I experimented until I got the right amount for my hair (which is fine and thin). The biggest difference that I have noticed is the part down the middle of my head. Before, it looked like the Grand Canyon (at least to me it did), but now the gap has narrowed considerably. My hair also feels fuller, and styles better. Just remember, a little goes a long way. It comes in a pump bottle, and I use 1 pump to work into my part and then brush through the rest of my hair. I am really pleased with the results.

Anyway, she highly recommends this as the best thing she has ever tried - and this is in the last 30 years.
