Rather dim...
I use this to paint model figures. But I found that the light sources was too dim and strained my eyes. There are a number of different levels of magnification, which is innovative, but to get the high levels of magnification, the object has to be absurdly close, making it difficult to get a brush near the object.Comes with mandatory, badly translated English from Chinese instructions for entertainment value.

Superb piece of kit, and incredible value
Excellent unit for the purpose. I used mine for the first time to do some quite fiddly repairs in a friend's model railway shed, where the lighting is usually a problem. Made the whole job a doddle. Only slight issue is that the headband made my head a bit sweaty after about 30 minutes wear, I'll be lining it with some suitable fabric to prevent that in future.

Very decent glasses
I have a few of these and they are perfect for all of my small repairsThis type is by far the best as you have 2 different magnifying strenghts ideal for watch repairs and electronics circuitswell worth the price plus the added light is a plus as well.Have bought 3 pair of these now as they are very hard to come accross.
