National Tree Company 4.5ft Pre-Lit Dunhill Fir Artificial Christmas Tree

A gorgeous smaller tree ablaze with multicolored lights. I didn't think that a smaller tree would be both filled out with all the branches one could ask for and also fill those branches with an abundance of multicolored lights. Just seeing it will cheer you up. The only gripe I have is in the way the bottom of the tree was packaged. For reasons I don't understand, a red plastic sleeve was attached to the tree that I couldn't dislodge with my bare hands. I tried twisting it off with a pair of channel locks to no avail. Finally, I had to resort to using my Dremel to grind cuts in the plastic until I could finally twist it off (see third photo). I confess that I have arthritis in my hands so maybe I just don't have the strength anymore to get the sleeve off. What I don't understand is why the sleeve was put on the tree in the first place. All it does in prevent you from inserting the tree in the base provided. Still, it's a great tree!

This is the best purchase ever. This little tree never drops a single needle. It doesn't get brittle and become a fire hazard. It doesn't die and become sad looking. I'm pretty sure the lights are LED, because there's absolutely no heat coming from them. But they're a 100% copy of old fashioned lights. I actually thought they were incandescent until this year. The tree is in a spot where they're next to a hanging curtain light which is LED and multi color. And if I told you the tree had incandescents and that's why it's so golden glowing even though it's also multi color... you'd believe me. Until you touched them and felt no heat. There's no "blue laser beam" effect in pictures. It looks completely normal. And so does the tree. The only way you know it's not real is, there's no spruce smell. But you can get that from an air freshener. Or buy a real wreath from your local fire station, they usually sell trees and wreaths as a fundraiser. I got a standing cover for it so I don't even have to take anything off unless it's fragile. I just move it to a storage spot until next year. It's light enough to carry and not tall enough to hit the ceiling when I walk with it. But the main reason I got this tree is because it's too short to interest my cat. And even if she does go for a climb, if she knocks it down, she won't get hurt much. So now she just hides in the jungle, or so she thinks, under the tree.

I ordered this tree last August, 2022 and stored it away until Christmas. I had a beautiful, large older tree but I couldn't handle it by myself anymore. Last year's supply problems left the artifical tree supplies in my area close to nil, so I bought a real tree. It was just like old times but now that I've reached an advanced age I understand why my grandmother gave up on them. Uncertain of what would happen this Christmas Season I went hunting for a new tree more my size. I am so pleased I found this. I brought it out of storage and set it up on the stand that's included (along with extra light bulbs) and plugged the bottom portion in. Wow! They were not stingy with the lights, but I was a thinking it was not a very full tree as was shone in the pictures. Visions of Charlie Brown. When I placed the top portion onto the bottom there seemed an awful lot of space between the two sections. If you're considering the purchase of this tree don't worry. I set the tree on my round drum table and set to work. It took me two days to "fluff" it but once I was done - it's was beautiful. The branches are sturdy but pliable and you can adjust them to your hearts content. I had no problems with weightier ornaments bending the branches and again it is amply loaded with lovely lights. Very happy with this tree.

Height and fullness perfect for a smaller room. Color and feel quite realistic. Unfortunately had to return it, one string of lights did not work and we could not figure out which bulb was the issue, they all seemed secure. I will buy again, very pretty little tree.

Tree arrived 2 days ahead of schedule and in good condition. only issue was getting plastic protector off of stem where it inserts into the base. the metal base is stable and easy to set up. assembly of the tree only takes a few minutes as its only 2 pcs. after spending approximately 30-45 minutes fluffing the branches the tree looks very nice, and I am very happy with it. the multi color lights look really good as well. looks like a real tree. hopefully the lights last for a while. as of now I would recommend this tree, and I would buy again.

I took a long time reviewing available small trees. This was one of the few with colored lights and so many tips and lights, so I took a chance. Came in a compact box. Not sure I will be able to store or get it back in. I followed directions on fluffing it out. Easy but took me almost an hour. Very sturdy. Feet are thin though. The lights are well spread and plentiful. It is quite full, which is why I bought it and not some cheaper ones. Cannot see through it once you have decorated it. One thing, the cord is very short and there is no on/off switch. I used an extension cord and a remote outlet plug which work great from across the room. I hope it will continue to bring joy next year. I have received many compliments.

So when it first comes out of the box you might think “what have I done”! But once you put it together and pull apart, “fluff” the branches I hope you will be as impressed as I am! I have had nothing but live Xmas trees for nearly 40 years and this tree is as beautiful as any one of the live ones we’ve harvested over the decades! It has a natural look and feel and shape! The lights are traditional incandescent with green wires and ugly plugs rather than the fake looking LED you’ll find on today’s way more expensive trees and I’m good with that! And if those lights ever fail I’ll be able to remove them and restring the tree if need be. This tree will be the only tree we will need for the rest of our years on this earth and I’m pleased with the choice I made! This is the 4.5 foot version and it’s a perfect fit on my 3 foot table!

I bought this tree for my mother to replace the dilapidated version she has had for many years. She was "just fine" with what she had and asked me not to spend any money on another tree, I did anyways. She loves it. Mine came with the tree stand and it was easy to assemble the top and bottom parts. The hinges needed some pulling apart on the top section as some were tucked under each other and I realize there is NO WAY I could get this thing back in the box for storage without spending a great deal of time manipulating the hinges and branches. The top section was wrapped in a evergreen garland strip which I used to cover the lower posts section. It took about 30 minutes to "fluff" out the tree. the top portion had much better coverage with branches easily overlapping than the bottom section, the lowest branches especially left some bare spots despite multiple attempts to readjust branches. With that said the tree has a nice full shape and larger ornaments helped to hide the gaps. We haven't put anything on the top yet but there is a single longish branch at the top that feels like it would be too flimsy for anything too heavy or fragile. This tree has the thin papery green strips for needles and these were shedding a bit as we decorated the tree. As other reviewers indicated I found the upper section to have more lights that the bottom but I thought the colors (red, blue, green and yellow) were well distributed throughout the tree. The branches are a bit sturdier than some of the other trees but found with some of the heavier ornaments the branches sagged and we attached the ornament with wire wrapped a few times around the branch rather than take a chance with a regular ornament hook. Overall it is a nice tree, easy to assemble but a bit overpriced.

Tree came as promised. Tree was even better than expected. It has so many lights that makes the tree look beautiful. Easy to assemble and disassemble afterwards. Tree was so beautiful, I took it down 3 days after I usually do. Would of kept it up all year if I could. I 100% recommend this tree.

Easy to set up. First time take a bit to get it all fluffed up but looks good and lots of lights.
