Just picked up another one of these! As I travel quite a bit, having a quality cable that is small and packs easily, doesn't get tangled and can deliver a fast charge to multiple devices is so important. The price to value ratio for these is also very good. I use it for all of my devices...iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, multi-charger, etc and it is compatible with all and works great.

Got this as I recently upgraded phones and can now use USB-C cables.Had something similar previously that I used when traveling, and was very handy as it was compact and meant I had one less loose cable in my bag.This one is nicer as it's about twice the length, so I shouldn't have to struggle to reach a wall outlet anymore, and personally I'm a fan of the color purple, so it was nice to have that color as an option. The cable extends and contracts smoothly, obviously a bit larger than my last one but it's still nice and compact for traveling, plus it's form factor and color mean it's easy to spot in my bag among the other cables and adapters.Overall I'm quite happy with this, should serve well for many years.

The line is decent and what you would expect from baseus. The retraction mechanism is smooth , slimline and not trying to rip itself apart , being single lane means it doesn't tangle or jam . The spring system is a good strength that's not going to give you whiplash. It only really has one length stopper and is unadjustable . It's basic, but it's well made and solid compared to alot of other similar products. As a tip I suggest you stick some Velcro or a hook to it so that it's more easily organized , it's smooth and small nature makes it roll all over the place in bags etc. if you want a retractable and your okay with the cable specs , this is the brand you buy from for reliability and quality.

I purchased the Baseus purple and a black 6.6 ft retractable USB C to USB C fast charging cables to replace some standard 6.6 ft cables. We have multiple cables for phones, tablets, etc. and these really help with cable management What I like most about these cables is how well the mechanism works for extending and retracting the cable. It is a very smooth action and feels very solid. It is also a big plus that Baseus offers these in multiple colors which helps to identify which cable is for which device at a quick glance. I haven't had them long enough to evaluate longevity, but I can say they do charge devices at the highest available speed.If I had to pick 1 think that could be a draw back is that the "puck" size that holds the cable is kind of big, but there is probably no way around that given how long the cable is.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and will probably buy these again.

I ordered this charger, and the it was great at first, it was fast at charging and was easy to pack up when I was done with it, but after only two weeks the first charger I received had the charging plug pop off cleanly from the wire. I thought it was a defect or user error, so I got a replacement. The second one seemed to work fine at first, but I noticed that other devices would randomly turn on and off whenever I plugged this charger into the same power strip, even if those devices were initially off. The charger looked fine physically on the outside, no damage or loose parts like the first charger I got, so I suspected the power strip. I tried using a regular wall adapter to test the charger, where it worked fine. However, I plugged in an LED light into the other port of the wall adapter and turned the LED light off to test my suspicions. Each time I plugged in or unplugged the charger not the LED, the LED light would turn back on, and while I am no electrician this indicated a potential short or fault in the charger. I no longer feel it's safe to use. While I can no longer return this a product for a return, I will no longer be confident in purchasing products from this brand again.

A very solid, high quality cable. It works great with a high powered power source. I won't travel without it.
