Perfect for an outdoor EV socket
I installed it in my garage for EV 3.3kW 15A charging. The socket is really good quality. Perfect plastic mould, smooth hinges for the closing flap, clean wiring and a nice notch for a small padlock. The rubber washers fit perfectly which is important for waterproofing. And the instructions are written so clearly - looks like a copy of the UK instructions - this is so much better than any others that I have come across. The only improvement could be in the outside packaging, but that is a very minor issue. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking to install an outdoor socket that is water and dust proof.

Good product - specify max plug size
Good product. Well designed. Well built. The manufacturer should specify the max size of the plug it can handle. I could see that could be a problem. I still bought it to try it out. Given the plug-size of my outdoor Qubo camera, I had to get creative. I removed part of the product inner assembly to make my plug operational, and still be able to use the product's water proof feature.

Very good and sturdy. I installed it in my basement but can be used outside as well. It's properly sealed from weather be it rain or sun. The can can be locked in place when you open it.

It’s ok for the money
Some screws were missing when it got delivered. Overall I’m fine with this product. You need to buy a separate switch(MCB) because it does not have switch.

Very good product for parking areas and charging locations. Especially for EV scooters like Bajaj chetak.
