This is for most aspects a very nice cap: it feels and looks good with the nice 3D M logo. I was really looking forward to wear it... I am a size 7/8-8, so a large head and I can put it on, but the crown is too small. I look like I am wearing a child hat. The cap sits about an inch above my ears! That is too bad. This is by far the smallest cap I have purchased in the last 15 years, I am afraid.. It may go well for someone with a small head or a woman who has likely a smaller frame than my 6ʻ2" 250, but big guys could end up looking funny wearing it.The hat is not structured, i.e. the front of the crown does not stand up too well, but the cap is smallish and so I did not notice any wrinkle forming. Smart idea that of putting the "University of Minnesota" in the lower part towards the bill so that wrinkles are less likely to form. Still, it looks better if I keep the cardboard it comes with. Unfortunately that makes the cap even smaller to wear.I hate this "one size fits most thing".. Oh if I hate it. ... But I was aware that by purchasing it I was opening myself up to disappointment.Iʻd say that this hat is only suitable up to a size 7 1/2 and that is it. I have other "one size fits most" caps and those work instead. This does not. Just i did not expect the cap to be this small.Why donʻt they make all caps fitted and maybe with a bit of expansion? ... I purchased some super nicely fitting caps by Under Armour, if only they licensed the logos by NCAA or other professional sport leagues..

I bought this as a gift for my dad. He, and I, have extra large sized heads. He says it fits him well and he liked the quality, and he wears it.
