Absolute Justice League: The World's Greatest Super-heroes

As usual, the artwork of Alex Ross is iconic and timeless. Nothing else to say there. But my praise is on the packaging of the delivery. For this Absolute edition I bougth (and the Kingdom Come one), I received them in pristine condition. They always come in an cardboard box which offers an extra layer of protection.

It's Alex Ross. I've been looking for this for awhile and now here is the new edition. It got here before the due date in excellent condition.

Brilliant collection of very special comic books. These collaborations between Alex Ross and Paul Dini are something very special and unique. The stories are engaging and moving. The artwork is gorgeous. You can't go wrong with this collection if you like classic super heroes and/or exceptional visual art.

No dents and dings. Double boxed.

There is so much that can be said about this book, but y'all real fans already know why we bought this book. Ross's style is second to none for realism. And the story telling is on par with the illustrations. Very pleased with this purchase, and the price even more so. Sometimes I buy for collecting, but I will be cutting the seal and reading this beauty tonight.

Wow. First, I want to thank whoever wrapped my package. It came in a cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap and then inside of a larger box. I wish this is done with every hard cover book as in the past I've had damage done through shipping. Thank you for making sure it came 100% in great condition.Second, GET THIS IN HARDCOVER. Trust me. You will not regret it.Third, holy crap. The art. The stories. I never knew these comics existed. I just open the first few pages and my jaw dropped. Felt like looking at the BvS Art book.Overall, I definitely recommend this for any fan. Just the pictures alone in the book relay the messages the artist and writer try to bring. Definitely reading this entire book this weekend!

The stories are cool as is the art especially in oversized format.

This book and story is epic and with the best art style ever made by the great alex ross. Great story and good looking book .

... but it also comes in a separate box, which makes it, like our heroes, indestructible during transport !My experience, also with Amazon, is, that big heavy books, although they come in slipcases, suffer because of their weight from transport damage, like torn in covers, ripped cases etc.The idea to put a book it in an additional tight box, which then can be put in a mostly oversized standard Amazon box, is an example worth following, I think.

Amazing book with amazing art. Dini and Ross paint a world more grounded and familiar and places our favorite heroes in it. Its main strength is that the stories have a tighter focus are less concerned with super villains and more with real world issues and why they are difficult to deal with.

Having been a collector of oversize hardcover comics for 20 years now I have generally enjoyed marvel omnibus editions more than others for their quality of product and story.Whilst I enjoyed the absolute editions of Alex Ross’s other works (“Kingdom Come” and “Justice”) they were beautiful to look at but not great narrations.This collection is evocative for both the artwork and narrative which are fantastic.Delighted with my purchase for just under £40 a hardcover, dust jacket and slip case as usual with absolute editions.Beautiful quality. I will keep this for my 5 year old son to enjoy when he is old enough.Delivery from Amazon was really excellent I must say, large enough box well packaged to prevent damage.
