With so much media being consumed via a phone I often watch movies or series from my phone when travelling by plane. This very flexible solution allows you to use 'magsafe' or a sprung clamp. The 'jaws' of the mount is able to open to 29mm allowing it to grip to quite thick surfaces. It also comes with a carry bag, a carabiner type clip, and two adhesive back rings to convert non-magsafe phone to work with the magnetic attachment.

I also found that my phone got less warm as it didn't have the heat transfer from my palm.Folds up and lightweight so easily goes in my rucksack when not using.One of those things that you probably don't think about until you actually use it and then realise what you have been missing.

If you are a regular traveller or simply want to have a phone mount that you can clamp onto a multitude of surfaces whilst also being confident in the sturdiness of the clamp and the strength of the mount then this is a product well worth considering.In the box you receive a carry bag, the mount itself, a carabiner, the "clamp" version of phone mount and 2 x metal rings you can attach to devices that aren't already magnet mount ready.The mount arm itself is ready to use straight from the box with no tightening or assembly required. You simply pull out the clamp, fit onto the surface you want and your ready to go.The magnet mount is very easy to angle and position as it's fitted to a ball mount. I haven't used the phone grip version as all my devices work with/now work with the magnet version.I decided to test the magnet mount out with a phone fitted with a magsafe case, an iPhone 14 without a case and after applying one of the included metal rings to a basic case I have on my Nokia X30. In all cases the connection felt strong and sturdy and even some simulated turbulence made little to no difference. If anything the grip on the metal ring supplied in the box felt the strongest (and applying this to the back of a phone case was very quick and simple).I tested mounting the clamp onto a few surfaces and the grip was good each time with no marks or indents left which was a positive (I've had issues with scratching from similar products before).My only real complaint would be the material the carry bag is made from is horrible, but it doesn't hugely matter as I won't be using it anyway.Overall:I would definitely recommend this product, it will be a very handy option to have for flights and long train journeys and I'm also experimenting with whether the mount (combined with a cable next to it) could provide a charging stand whilst allowing me to position my phone directly below my monitor.

Tested this product on some recent flights. This works on most low cost carriers and is a great handsome alternative to holding your phone or propping it up on your table.Very easy to use, just clip your phone in like any other phone holder you may use in a car and the other part is a sliding hook that hooks on to the side of the table when it is closed. There are strong clips and springs in operation so it stays put.Beware this won't work on planes where there isn't a straight edge to the table as you can't get the phone into the gap when it's in its closed position. I find these are smaller regional planes generally.Definitely one for my travel case.

I've tried a variety of products for mounting my phone on plane seats and tables. This is by far my favourite. Holds an iPhone 15 pro max even in turbulent conditions. Spring loaded clamp is super strong.

Verarbeitung erscheint sehr gut. Die Klemmhalterung sitzt recht fest für Flugzeug und Bahn.Die Smartphone-Klemmhalterung funktioniert einwandfrei.Die Magnethalterung funktioniert soweit auch sehr gut. Aber die Befürchtung dass das Smartphone runterfällt bleibt, da im engen Raum zum Klapptisch doch Missgeschick schnell passiert.

I purchased this to use with my iPhone 15 Pro. My desk at home has an edge a bit thicker than an airplane tray so I have been using the holder to secure my iPhone 15 Pro while I work from. It’s very sturdy, has not damaged my desk (which is painted white), and is very easy to use. I’m looking forward to using this on future flights, as I usually fly on Southwest and they do not have phone holders like some of the larger planes have nowadays.The box also came with two magnetic rings, which I have not found a use for yet because my phone has MagSafe, but good to have in case I ever buy a thicker cell phone case that isn’t MagSafe compatible.

Diese 2in1 Handyhalterung mit Klemme gefällt mir soweit recht gut.Der Produktumfang ist recht großzügig: Zuerst einmal haben wir die Halterung als solche, die vorwiegend aus Plastik besteht. Vorne haben wir das bekannte Kugelgelenk, auf dem sich standartmäßig die magsafe kompatible Handyhalterung befindet. Zusätzlich ist dem Paket aber noch eine allgemeine Handyklemme beigelegt, sodass sich auch nicht magsafe kompatible Geräte befestigen lassen. Zudem gibt es einen Karabinerhaken (um die Handyhalterung, praktisch, an zum Beispiel einen Rucksack zu befestigen), eine Stofftasche zum Transport der Halterung (ausreichend groß) sowie zwei zusätzliche magsafe kompatible Magnetscheiben, die verklebt werden können (auf Handys oder Hüllen, die keine magsafe Funktion haben).Der nicht-magsafe Aufsatz ist innen gummiert, vermutlich um Kratzern vorzubeugen sowie dem Handy mehr Grip zu bieten.Die Halterung hat einen Schiebemechanismus, den man über einen kleinen Griff bedienen kann: Wenn man diesen Herunterdrückt (hier braucht man einiges an Kraft, die Feder innerhalb der Halterung ist sehr steif) bewegt sich der untere Plastikteil der Halterung, sodass man das ganze irgendwo festklemmen kann.Die Materialwahl ist hier überwiegend Plastik: Das heißt der Korpus der Halterung sowie die Aufsätze. Metall findet man hier lediglich im Karabinerhaken sowie innerhalb der Halterung, indem sich die bewegliche Platte befindet, die man mit dem Knauf herunterschieben kann.Allzu viel Vertrauen habe ich in den Haltemechanismus allerdings nicht, da sehr viel Spannung auf der Feder steht und die Auflageflächen lediglich aus Plastik bestehen. Hier hätte ich mir mehr Metall gewünscht. Wie lange das Produkt also hält, bleibt abzuwarten.Zur Anwendung kann ich überwiegend positives berichten: dank der starken Feder bleibt die Halterung auch an nur sehr schmalen Kanten gut dran. Einzig negative empfinde ich hier den Verstellwinkel der Aufsätze. Da die Verschraubung über dem Kugelgelenk recht breit ist, lässt sich das Handy hier nur in einem recht kleinen ca. 45 Grad Winkel verstellen. Das ist nicht sehr viel und sorgt dafür, dass man die Halterung schräg in Höhe des Kopfes setzen muss, da die Halterung aufrecht vor einem - zum Beispiel an einem Tisch - durch den kurzen Winkel dazu führt, dass ein Handy nur schlecht ablesbar bzw. bedienbar ist.Den Preis von 14.99 € empfinde ich in Anbetracht des Zubehörs (zwei separate Aufsätze, mit magsafe und ohne) inklusive Tasche, zusätzlichen magsafe Adapter Platten sowie einem Karabinerhaken als fair.Damit gibt es solide 3 1/2 von 5 Sterne, aufgerundet 4.
