Not very sour but the whole candy is sour
I like sour candies and the Atomic candies are some of the most sour ones. The issue with most sour candies is that only the outer layer is sour. Once you get to the core they are sweet. The smarties candies are sour down to the core. It's just slightly sour, though. I wish they would be a LOT more sour but at least you can enjoy the test beyond 30s when the sour coating is done on other candies.

Thought I was enjoying them a bit too much
Someone brought in some Smarties at work and it had been a while since I had Smarties and I never knew they made them in the sour version. I thought I was eating the original version and then realized they were the sour ones, no wonder I couldn't stop eating them. I am a huge fan of anything sour. It is a bit of an acidic type sour. I have a hard time finding these in any stores near me.
