Dokotoo Womens Winter Jackets Button Down Casual Long Sleeve Shacket Coats with Pockets

The size chart says a Small would be too large for her based on bust size (she's 40+). So we used the American Sizing numbers to get the right size (16-18) which means we ordered the XL. It is the right size for her! It fits, with some roominess to be able to wear layers under the jacket.While the header of the web page clearly says "Dokotoo Womens Winter Jackets Button Down Casual Long Sleeve" -- there are no buttons -- it is actually a snap-type closure. This was actually a plus for us, as she HATES having to button a jacket, especially over multiple other layers, and prefers snaps or a zipper on a jacket. But we felt you should know that it is snaps, not buttons. Bothe the jacket closure and the pockets have snaps. And the sleeves do not have any closures on them.Speaking of the pockets, the are nice and deep, placed just a bit higher than my wife would like, but not too badly (she can get into them okay).What lowered the jacket rating to 3 stars was the "unfinished edge" along the placard of the snaps panel (see picture). This was just not what she wanted! If these edges had been finished, the jacket would havebeen just about perfect, but the unfinished edge gives it a raggedy look -- like when you buy brand new jeans that are pre-torn and shredded! -- NOT for us! She won't wear this jacket out in public, just like she won't wear torn jeans in public! So she'll keep the jacket for wearing around the yard, but that's it. The webpage said nothing about this feature, so it caught us by surprise, and had the webpage said anything about it, we would not have ordered the jacket at all. Bummer! Very Disappointing!

The concept of this jacket is great but the execution is lacking. The burnt sienna/burnt orange color is sadly just orange and not super flattering. I've seen the pics of the black and it's looks much better in that color. I get the concept of acid washed but this looks splotchy and like you accidentally added bleach to your laundry. The fit is nice-more like a members only jacket. Depending on your arms the sleeves may be a bit short. When I took it out of the package I immediately noticed the fabric had a plastic like sheen to it. I figured washing it may help and while it did slightly it still has a plastic look and a stiff, scratchy, synthetic feel. I'm not sure what to think about this one...maybe in the darker color it's better than what myself and others have gotten?

First off, I do like this jacket. I have a 40” bust and 36” waist and ordered the medium because I wanted a looser fit. Glad I did because it fits just right. It’s not really loose when buttoned up but when it’s not, it’s a good look. A small, although still within my measurements, would probably be tight. It is definitely a fall coat. It’s not thick enough to keep you warm in cold weather. It’s basically sweatshirt material. When I straighten my arm out the sleeve does come up a bit. Not a deal breaker though. It’s a cute jacket and I’m going to keep it and wear it. My issue however, and why I docked a star is that it is not what is advertised. The advertised green jacket is a solid, albeit faded, green. What I received is a splotchy green coat. You can see in my pictures that it doesn’t look like the coat advertised at all. I would have preferred the advertised coat but I am content with this one and will keep and wear it a lot this fall.

I wanted this jacket to be more like a jacket. It doesn't have any lining so the interior is just the opposite of the fabric. It isn't advertised as such, but I just wish it had some, so it was more like a coat rather than a sweatshirt with buttons. It isn't overly soft or overly scratchy. It just is.... which is fine. I do love the color and I love the color effect, almost like a white washed tie dye effect. I will be wearing this more as an outer layer to an outfit more than a jacket, so either way it will keep me warmer, but not necessarily on its own.

I did not know what to make of this DOKOTOO jacket when it arrived. The coloring was way off as I ordered a Khaki color and what arrived was a mottled spotted jacket in an orange shade. I was so disappointed as thought it would work as a fall jacket. The jacket was also extra large and was called a Shacket so maybe those color I received, match a Shacket. The material was nice and soft like suede and well made, but the coloring turned me off. I think the designers are going overboard with the oversize design. I am as a Senior Citizen do not like an over sized look to my clothing. I love well fitted clothing and comfortable to wear. I am also set in my ways on the color of things I wear, knowing what goes best with my skin color.

It's a fabric shacket (shirt-jacket) that's thinner than the pictures make it look, and the red color is definitely not as advertised. I'm not entirely disappointed but I was hoping for the more mauve-ish tone with the darker edging details, like some of the pictures show. This is definitely a salmon/coral color. I like the raw edging though, and the stitching feels strong and well done. It will need a bit of ironing, right out of the package. Specifically around the collar. The snaps feel sharp on the inside rims, which I don't particularly like. But over all, as I said, I'm not entirely disappointed. I sized down, I actually typically wear large/XL but I didn't want this to be super oversized. Definitely glad I sized down because otherwise it would have been enormous. I highly recommend going down one size.

I can't wait for fall! For reference, I am 5'1, 130 pounds. I carry most of my weight in my chest and midsection. I ordered a medium, but it does not fit oversized like shown in the picture. If I wanted to button it, it would be a tight fit. If you are looking for an oversized look, I would suggest sizing up a size or 2. I am still going to rock it though! It is also a little over priced at around $40 at the time of purchase. I would be more in the market at around $20.

Brown/tan is a weird pattern. Not quite what I was expecting.
