These are essentially a basic ballet style slipper with adjustable straps for the closure. A thin soled flat slipper. There is a fairly thin inner padding. They look cute, feel pretty comfortable, fit snugly and wash easy. I purchased two more of the exact same ones for myself and a different style for a family member who has mobility issues.The straps with velcro make it easy to secure the slipper and makes it easier to put the slipper on another person's foot while being able to see whether it's on securely. Because it's not a big fluffy slipper, it's also clear if their toes are curled up and the toe box is thin enough so you can straighten out their foot so the slipper seats securely. The rubber sole has good grip on a lot of different surfaces. The sole is thin enough to provide some decent physical feedback while being thick enough to provide decent protection.My shoe size is an odd size that few manufacturers make, and fewer carry. These fit securely on my feet, although they are just a titch shorter than my outdoor shoes, so they're a little too short to wear socks comfortably. And the toe seam is a bit annoying initially but smooths down within the first wearing for me.I machine washed and air dried with no problems.I love these and have already purchased three more pairs.

I bought these slippers for my 88 year old mom. She has had problems with bunions and these slippers, being nice and wide, were perfect for her. She wears a 9.5 shoe size, so the 9.5-10 size slipper was a great fit. The slippers are fluffy looking and the straps with Velcro make it easy to put on and make it as tight as you want. She loves the soles of the slipper and feels confident that she will not slip on the floor in the house. She likes the fact that it feels like a slipper sock but has the rubber sole allowing her to step into garage or go outside and get her mail. She really likes the slipper and said it's very nice and looks like a shoe. I would definitely buy again and probably in another color.

They are very wide and not much cushion at all. But they are so warm, soft and the adjustable straps are great because they are wide and loose around the toes.
