Takes some effort but great for crafters
I am a keen crafter and I was interested in trying out this kit. It takes a while to get the hang of what to do, and to begin with my results were patchy. But I think if you pay attention to the details, and follow the instructions ver carefully, you can get some interesting dried flower results. The colours can change a fair bit when drying out using this method, but again, you get to know what to expect. You can reuse the silica gel, and as a starter set this is a sensible option. This method of preserving flowers might not be for you. But with this set you can have a try without laying out on lots of materials.

Great drying crystals kit
The media could not be loaded. I really liked the idea of being able to dry the flowers at home, so I decided to get this kit, which surprised me as I was only expecting the package with the crystals, but in fact it also included a bowl with a lid and a brush. The crystals were packed in a vacuum bag and when they are not used they have yellow color while when they are used they have green color, a good thing is that they are reusable as they can be put in a microwave or oven to return to their original state. The use was very easy and I like the result this kit gives. I would also like to know the information about how long the flowers last after we made them with these drying crystal as it is not written anywhere. Anyway, I think it is a very good kit with great quality and the price seems reasonable to me.

Effective multi-purpose stuff!
Perfect for frying out wet tech or drying flowers. One of those things that I find useful to keep around. Silica is super effective so I also use for a dehumidifier

A nice silica gel set for drying flowers
As someone who likes all sorts of strange Hobbies I thought I would give drying flowers a go and instead of pressing them into books I could carefully bury them and it's silica gel that will dehumidify the flowers and dry them out nicely.I was actually surprised it worked as well as it did the flowers themselves weren't as brittle as I expected and retained most of their shape which is definitely different than book pressing. The jail itself can be reused multiple times after drying it in the oven and restore in the container after use.Interesting and fun product

This is a nice kit...
This is a nice kit for drying flowers. It consists of the silica gel; clear airtight container; soft brush and instructions. The silica contains crystals which change colour from their original orange colour to let you know when it has become saturated and needs drying. You can dry the silica gel in an oven or microwave. The whole flower drying process is quite simple. Select a suitable flower and place it on a layer of silica in the container. Cover the flower with more silica gel and leave for several days to dry out. You can then gently remove the dried flower and dust the extra silica off with the brush. The actual container is approximately 8 x 5 inches usable area inside which will give you an idea of the number of flowers you could do at any one time. You can easily do quite a few small flowers or one or two larger ones at the same time.As I said, it's a nice kit and something which can be used over and over again.

Full kit included and enough crystals for lots of flowers
I got this set as I create resin items and put all kinds of things in there. I currently have a flower press that I use all the time but thought it would be great to try drying some full flowers and if it works well enough to use them in resin - if any moisture is left, it will create bubbles....The main thing I liked about this set is that it came with the tub - a very good quality one too so you don't need to buy anything else to have a go. It also has a little fan brush so you can brush away any left over crystals when the flowers have dried.I forgot to take a 'before' photo but I have put 8 small white roses in and about 7 red carnations. There was plenty of space between each one and I have laid them on their sides with about an inch of stem left on them. The crystals are tiny so I gave the box a wee shake after I had filled it with the hope that they will find their way into every nook and cranny of the flowers. They have been in the tub for 2 days so are not ready to come out and the crystals are still orange - I believe they turn green when they've absorbed all the moisture so I'll have to wait and see.If the review isn't updated, it means they turned out great - any problems, I'll post back here.

Very handy stuff for things other than flowers.
I've never dried flowers in my life, nor I am likely too. I do use this stuff for drying out outdoor electrical equipment. Equipment like radios and GPS devices, devices designed to be used outdoors and often get wet. Whilst they're made to withstand the elements they invariably get soaked from time to time and drying them fully really helps with their longevity and function. These silica gel crystals do a good job. They already in an airtight container and the devices are immersed into the crystals inside paper bags. The crystal draw out the errant moisture in a matter of hours. The visual change in colour when it becomes saturated is a very handy. You can dry the powder out again by placing it in an oven for 30 minutes or so, thinly spread onto a baking tray. My oven has a plate warming function which gets the oven to about 80 degrees and that works well enough for me. Placing the crystals outside in direct sunlight on a calm sunny summers day will also have a similar effect but trying to source a calm sunny warm day here in the UK is not easy ... stick with the oven method. You can use a microwave but I have yet to try that.

einfache Anwendung, gutes Ergebnis
Klasse Starterset.

Don’t open on your couch
Can y’all pay for a cleaner? When it was packaged it all broke open and obviously no one cared to do anything about it. It was even outside the box so now my living room and dining room are covered in static cling sand. Super thrilled, it’s on par with glitter. Half tempted to just throw it all in the trash. Half tempted to give one star because of the freaking hassle. Everything is coated and I lost quite a bit. The picture is after I had to move to my table because it was a wreck on my couch
