This has mild heat/spiciness to it. The ingredients you need to add yourself are the butternut squash, vegetable broth *8 cups* and an onion. Total time to make it was 1hr and it came out yummy and well cooked. The broth wasn't too thick. I love how the pack includes a ton of different dried ingredients as well to add a variety of flavor to the soup.

Package received with both soup packages broken and I find out it’s not returnable.How do I get my money back? I don’t feel safe using the product and how do I determine what was in each package?

This soup requires quite a bit of add-ins, 4 cups of butter nut squash diced, one onion diced aqnd 8 cups of vegetable broth. The pacagage you get has LENTIL, NAVY BEAN, QUINOA, CARROT, BELL PEPPER, MOLASSES POWDER, GARLIC, GINGER. CARDAMOM, CAYENNE. Given the cost of the butternut sqash, onion and vegetable stock you need to add to this already expensive dried lentils and navy beans, this soup is just too expenisve in my book. It takes an hour to make! All of that said it tastes good! A little bit of heat but a nice tasteing soup. If you are looking for a quicker way to make soup, this isn't for you. If you don't mind the cost and getting the other ingredients you will enjoy the taste, but too much money and too much trouble!

Can’t use the existing packages as part of a food gift basket because one has ripped.
