The flavor is so good. You can use it on any type of meat. I haven’t tried it on veggies yet but I will.

Flavor

We made Shotgun Shells (try 'em, they're addictive!) with this sauce and seasoning. I never had southern spices before and don't particularly care for hot spices but, once cooked, this spice tones down just a bit, to make it quite palatable. Nice change of pace from New England and Mexican cooking.

I must have 20 to 30 different hot sauces in my refrigerator. I like sauces all varieties - from mild Tabasco to smoking hot Ghost pepper. I found Slap Ya Mama Cajun Hot Sauce to be very nice. It reminded me of Tabasco sauce, but with its own unique savoriness, and a similar heat.I wasn't too found of the Original version of Slap Ya Mama Cajun spice mix. If your taste is for milder seasoning than this is for you. This was just not spicy enough for me, and it contained way too much salt. To me it tasted like a seasoned salt. I also purchased Slap Ya Mama Louisiana Style Cajun Seasoning, Hot Blend which I think is great.

Great sauce and seasoning. I don't have to mix my own.

I want to give this seasoning 5 stars ⭐️ but cannot-because it makes everything we cook taste so great, but the lid on the seasoning shaker can is horrible, I can pour generous (too much)amounts out with it slid all the way shut, closed! Lid is bent and does not keep the product in. I ruined the very first dish I made because it poured out so much from all sides of the top, not just out of the little holes designed for sprinkling seasoning.Hope you can improve your packaging design in the near future. So we can continue purchasing.Otherwise flavor is yummy & outstanding!
