Bit smaller than expected, but does the job better than using a spoon

I have these same tongs in aluminium they are a bugger to clean and if squeezed to hard don’t spring apart.So I thought perhaps things had moved on in the tea tong arena and a better design might present. Unfortunately tea tongs are tea tongs and I plumbed for some in stainless steel.These tongs have a polished finish are a good thickness and most importantly spring apart after being squeezed. Also easier to clean because of the polished finish.I might also add that the ones I received were poorly finished. They had sharp edges where they had been machined.Not a problem it you have the tools available to rectify however not ideal.For this reason I award four stars.Happy shopping.

I have considered buying an implement such as this for sometime but wondered if it would just end up taking up space in a drawer. So I was delighted to discover what an excellent bit of kit this is! I fill my own plastic free teabags with good quality tea (not being a fan of tea dust in uncompostable bags), so I either have the extended top of a fold over self-fill teabag or the cord tie to hold when I remove the bag after steeping. I was forever burning my fingers as I struggled to extract the last of the moisture from the teabag using a teaspoon, but no more. Now I can simply hold the bag above my mug and use these Squeezer Tongs to do what they are designed for. They don't break the bag. They just do the job, beautifully. Very pleased!

Easy to use, bought as a replacement if they get too stained I soak them overnight using a denture tablet

Simple gadget, but lives by my kettle now. I paid £6.93 for it, which felt a little expensive considering some of the narrower ones are 1.99, but the wider "paddles" are much better in my opinion. With a gentle squeeze as you come out of the cup, there's no dripping over the counter top. After using for a while, they do get a little tea-stained, but a bit of a clean and they come back nice and shiny. Changed my tea making for the better.

Looked at the plethora of tea bag squeezers on the market and liked the look of this one. The working ends are quite large, but are great for coffee bag squeezing which are larger than the average tea bag. Does the job, and does it well

Wish I'd read reviews. It's only 15cm long not 21cm. I've already got one that's 15cm and not long enough hence buying this. Maybe it's me but I don't find it easy to grab the teabag. Complete waste of money but couldn't be bothered to return. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

This is pretty much a standard tea bag squeezer. It does the job.
