Good solution to a desk area with limited space for lamps etc. I have screwed this to the underside of a shelf and works quite nicely. I was worried that it would be a gloss black finish but it's a combination of matt/gloss so looks good and not cheap plastic. It can be dimmed manually using the touch controls or by using the remote, which also gives you 3 different colour choices from warm white, white and cool white.The only niggle I have, is there are 3 blue LED's on the unit which show you the power level. It would be good if these would fade off within a few seconds as in my mind, they shouldn't be lit. Otherwise, good light.

This seems to be a well presented, good quality product. Its light output in its various modes and settings is good and adjustable. Its claimed 60 hours of low level output has not yet been proved, but I have already seen that it is far better than that achieved by another, more expensive brand which i returned.

Initially I am giving the light a full 5 stars, out of the box it looks and feels an extremely well made product in metal, not plastic, happy that it contains 2 gel pads just in case you have to reposition the light. My only doubt is that I want it above a mirror for shaving and it may dazzle rather than illuminate the shaving area, it remains to be seen though an opaque cover over the LEDs may have helped. The remote works well operating the 3 lighting modes, dimming and timer as yet not investigated. Although a bit pricey it appears to be a quality item that is easy to detach for recharging

Fitted this in a well used space, the motion detection is excellent, the choice of different lighting is great, and it lasts months between charges. To charge it is simple if you use the magnetic mount. I fully recommend this light.

Bought 4, the product itself is great and just what we wanted, but they refuse to stay stuck to the wall. Easy to use, plenty of charge, light up a dark area easily, but the small sticker is not adequate
