First of all, it comes inside a small box with half bended and there are few dent marks.I was very disappointed with the quality and it did not stop the draft from coming in bottom of the door. I will try another item with longer stopper in length but I would stay away from this item.

It came folded, I gad to wait until it was soften to add it on my door. However, it is kind of stiff putting it on the door, there is adhesive to stick under the wood. Probably would need to use a dryer to make it pliable.

I had a unique situation... I have an old house, with an old wood door. The previous draft stopping piece was built into the threshold, but was tearing and going bad. I either had to replace the whole threshold or find a new solution. The problem was that I didn't have a lot of space to work with between the bottom of the door and both the threshold and our tile entry floor. After repeated issues with other door sweeps that would rub too much and tear easily... or not stick to the door, I was about to give up. This item worked great and has held up for the first week after install. It has lower profile rubber seals at the bottom, which just fits my space... it's a little tight but should break in over time. The best part is that the adhesive is holding strong. It was a little tough to get the adhesive cover strip pealed off, but not a big issue. Of course, this review only matters if it holds up over time... especially the freezing Minnesota winter we are about to go through. I will update the review if I experience any issues.

This strip is easy to install. It slips under the door, and just need to cut wirh regular scissors to the length of door. Once in place you peel the adhesive strip off on one side and press into place and then do the other side.I did have some bubbles but I pushed with a hard object and it stuck After 12 hours, it was still stuck into place. I didn't use the included screws, those will hold it into place better... for longer I imagine.I noticed an immediate difference with the draft that had been coming from the door.

This door draft stopper comes as a hefty extruded piece that looks like a U in profile. The inner side walls are red, when you pull it open. It comes with nails for installing. The width is extra wide, so it should fit even the widest doors; you'll trim back any excess. In the first photo you can see the external bottom surface that will extrude down towards the floor. It extrudes out almost 1/2 inch which is great. In the last photo I pressed in into the side of a door to see the fit. Without nails it squeezes quite well, but in the proper vertical position it will need some attachment. I got this to stop drafts and did not consider noise cancellation. It might perform at a "5 star" level for that, but I haven't installed it yet, and I not looking for it to accomplish that. THis is a keeper!
