Not at all waterproof!
the bag is not waterproof so i do not think it should be fireproof. After first rain bag was full of water. if my battery was in the bag it would have been submerged in water. i can not recommend this product. Not safe.

Nice, safe bag
This was a pre-bike aquisition while sorting through possibilities, which included any reasonably priced bike and/or custom build or upgrade to an existing bike. Extremely old caliper brakes precluded doing an ebike upgrade to any of my bikes and the inexpensive bikes that I purchased have no place to carry a bag like this, nor do the batteries fit in the bag, so I'll have to judge it on imagined usefulness. It is a nice, waterproof bag, with construction of what I'll have to assume, is fire suppression materials. I was surprised that there were no cable routing holes anywhere on the bag, meaning you would need to make your own or hang it out through the zipper. Watch the beans and franks, those zippers can cause some nasty abrasions. The bag has a daisy chain type strap running down the spine with 4 straps meant to pass through the loops and attach to the frame, most likely under the top cross tube. I got a girl's bike, so no go here for me. It could also be mounted to a rear or any rack, depending on what the use case. The zippers are watertight type(except for where the cables will need to pass through) and the bag consists of one large main compartment and one small side pocket. It could be used to carry a range extender battery if there is one available for your bike. This would be a great project as many bikes will be abandoned if/when their batteries no longer want to charge.Could be a good bag for additional storage in the frame triangle, if in need of more storage or a range extender battery or in a custom build.

Nice Battery Bag
This battery bag fits the standard (pictured in ad) ebike battery well and has a zippered pocket for small thin items like your wallet or phone and such. The zippers are waterproof and the bag looks and feels well made and very nice looking. They advertise this bag as a 2-in-1, as a battery bag or just a frame bag for other items. The bag is designed to be attached to the bike top tube (with included straps) which needs to be flat and have plenty of room- something many ebikes do not have. Trying to attach to a sloped or curving top tube will be challenging- especially using as a battery bag.My ebike has a very curvy top tube so I use the bag with the battery in it on my rear bike rack and it works well. I also use a piece of foam to cushion when the battery is on the rack, something you don't need to worry about if you can hang it from the top tube.Ebike batteries are heavy and placing the battery under the top tube tends to center the weight which is nice but depending upon your size, riding style and bike you may find it a bit in the way between your legs as you pedal.
