DecoArt DAPK88 Perfect Crackle, 2-Ounce, Perfect Crackle, Carded

This is the only product I can use with guaranteed results on top of fired/glazed ceramics. Most all the other cracle products need to be put over a latex paint and are hard to use. I love this stuff and it is no longer carried at Michaels.

I used this product for the first time it works. I just wish it was not so expensive and was offered in larger sizes.

This works fine, for best result APPLY 2 -3 TIME FIRST COAT (STEP 1) , let it dry, than apply step 2 thick coat , after it dries apply antique medium to make the cracks visible.

al final se logra el resultado pero es dificil de trabajar en ocaciones lo tengo que quitar y volverlo a poner varias veces para obtener el resultado deceado porque haciendo lo mismo nunca queda igual.

I didn’t have any luck with this product- even after reading directions, watching videos, etc. I tried several times and only had one positive result out of 20 tries. I had better luck using plain white glue to obtain crackle effect.

This 2-step crackle works really well for me. Use a thick layer for larger crackle. The first layer has to be very dry before putting the second layer on. Putting an antique stain over the finished crackle really makes it pop!

Followed directions exactly, twice! I am thankful that I tried it on a practice piece and not on something I was needing to sell. No crackles, not a one! Very disappointed. I have used a crackle medium before with great success but this was not the same. I should have read the reviews--my bad.

I like the crackle effect, I have only used 1 step process before and it turns out fine, so this is new to me. Not sure I see a difference with it being 2 steps..... 2 months later: Now that I have used the produce longer, I won't buy again. I've used diff crackles in the past and really like the effect. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but this has not worked at all, on any surface, which I have tried from glass to paper.
