Works great!
Works just as described. The crackle is so pretty this distress you can’t get from any other product or sanding.

It worked well
I used it to creat a peeling/flaking/cracking affect on my acrylic art painting. It did the job. After applied, it just looks shiny on the canvas. Be sure to let it dry for at least 24 hours. Once it is dry and acrylic paint is applied, it starts to crackle. It does not crackle before applying the paint.

It's great and fun!
The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this stuff! I make creepy dolls from old dolls, and it's extremely satisfying to watch the crackle magic happen! The last one is a Luvabella doll turned creepy...or should I say creepier!? (Excuse the loud guy in the background! I think he's talking in this video clip.)

Great for paint crackle designs
I found this crackle medium to be really easy to use. One thing I found is that you should not apply the paint really thick or it gives a streaky instead of crackle effect. I had better success when I applied two layers of medium (I let each layer dry in between) and one layer of paint. Happy crafting!

Perfect crackle for paper mache mask
I painted my mask with black acrylic paint, let it dry completely. I then painted over with the crackle paint. The direction you paint does change the crackle design. I let that dry for an hour and the painted over with a white chalk paint. The effect is really interesting.

It didn't work (at first)
Edit: I gave it another try and here's how I got it to work. Instead of waiting for it to completely dry, like the instructions, recommend, I applied my top coat when the crackle medium felt a little sticky. It worked!*******I tired using this several times thinking that I must have not used it correctly (i.e. didn't use enough crackle medium, didn't use enough top coat, used too much top coat). I read and re-read the directions and followed them. I even applied my top coat with an airbrush to avoid any possible damage to the crackle medium. It just didn't work. I'm really disappointed. It was a waste of time and acrylic paints.
