I purchased this tool in November 2021 it worked well for about 6 months then it would randomly not work and the normally green boost light would be red. I work for a NY City tool rental company and daily am asked what is the best tool for this job my reply was I love Avid Power tools. This all has changed because of the companies refusal to honor a warranty on a product that is in writing from Avid Power still under warranty. I was asked by Judy their warranty representative to send pictures a recent serial number and an explanation of my problem. I Sent her exactly everything she asked for. Judy then told me she could not find my order so I sent her my Amazon receipt proving when and where I purchased my item with again the serial number of item on a plate on item absolutely proving it was under warranty and needs to be replaced or repaired under their warranty service. They now will not reply and will not honor their written warranty this is just not at all acceptable. This company is HORRIBLE DISHONEST AND RUDE to their customers I now make sure every day to tell as many customers where I work how bad a company Avid Power is. I told Judy before I posted anything or made posters in the front office seen by at least 100 customers a day my experience with Adid Power. I want them to know I was their advocate for almost a year. I gave them all the opportunity to make this right and they chose to not honor their warranty with the wrong customer. Anyone who reads this should not do business with a company like this that doesn't honor their warranty STAY AWAY FROM AVID POWER !!!

Works great I’ve been cutting down little trees and cutting the roots in the ground.

The saw works great. The property had some branches down from the weekend storm so I went to work with my new saw. The safety switch is in a horrible spot if you need to cut upside down or with the trigger in your left hand. Really bad design. The battery lasted maybe 15 minutes of real cutting before I had to charge it so I'm not sure why because I had just pulled it off the charger.But it does cut effectively, and minus the safety, it is easy to use.

IT HELPS ME GET SMALL JOBS DONE IN RECORD TIME AND IT'S BATTERY OPERATED.I DON'T HAVE TO RUN NO AC OUTLET OR RUN NO DROP CORD.

This product is awesome for the price and Really like quick change for blade . I also liked it came with two batteries which makes an excellent deal and very solid tool

I like using it cuz so easy to handle. But they need to put better batteries in these, they only last 15-20min tops, and takes a minimum of 3hrs to 4hrs to charge each battery. I would never buy this again unless they can put better quality longer lasting batteries in them

New favorite tool. Well made with two batteries and long and short blades included. Good power and easy to use.

I liked the Avid Power corded tool I bought so I purchased a cordless drill, reciprocating saw and jigsaw. The tools are fine but the batteries not so much. I've had 2 batteries ruined by the reciprocating saw, probably depleted too far. IDK They just flash a code and won't charge anymore. Another battery had faulty charging indicator LEDS. No reason to add this because it doesn't change much but I opened the bad batteries and didn't see any way to reset them so I shorted the positive to negative quickly which reset the code and allowed them to start charging again. They work after that. Had a fire and a couple of tools survived but not the battery chargers and I can't buy a new one so the tools are useless.
