Not bad
It was what I expected. Easy to put together. Does what it needs to do. Seller was great.

Went from Twig arms to Pythons
For the price you can't do any better than this machine. I remember the days when people would call me such things as 'Twiggy' or 'Pinner'. I bought this machine and grew my flimsy arms into PYTHONS. It's sturdy enough and comfortable for me and I'm about 6 feet tall. Would recommend.

Cheap, not sturdy, and small
Assembly is easy. Frame is thin metal ... it actually will bend as you tighten the bolts. Once assembled, it wobbles when you sit on the seat ... needs a cross member on the end to make it sturdy. Curl stand is small so if you are tall you may have difficulty adjusting to a comfortable position. I primarily wanted a stand to hold my curl bar so will probably not use the seat much.

Decent for the price...not for bigger lifters.
It's easy to assemble. Generally a decent curl bench. The preacher bench is on the small side so if your a bigger person t may be a bit narrow. It's a bit light so it tends to be wobbly if no weight is on the rack. I would suggest a bigger unit for those lifting heavy and of larger body size.

Gets the job done
Took about 10 minutes to assemble. Very sturdy. I bought it because gym closed during pandemic. Works as well as the one at the gym.

Not a great product. Not a horrible product
This review is for the Preacher BenchLet’s start with the “What the heck are these”. There are 2 handled screws knob things that screw into the support bars for the bar rest. Why??? I can’t for the life of me figure out what these are for. As you can see in the pictures there are no screw holes for them to screw into and the bar rest is adjustable by pins on the sides. What’s the purpose of these screw knob things?Let’s talk damage. The bench came with paint chipped off in 3 spots. I chalked that up as “I don’t care”. The bench cost something like $69 and I’ll probably have chipped off more paint than that in the next month anyway. I just thought I should mention it as this is a review of the product. The arm rest sits crooked. You can kind of get the idea by the downward picture that I took of the arm rest. It doesn’t look that bad in the picture but you can definitely feel it when you’re using it.The arm rest is narrow but that’s not a bad thing necessarily. It is a preacher curl bench and meant to hit the peak of the bicep. That happens by keeping your elbows in. At least that’s what I’m using it for. I have other equipment for the outer and long part of the bicep. I was always taught that if you’re flaring your elbows out on biceps and triceps you’re doing it wrong. A narrow arm rest will help ensure you keep those elbows in for proper form. The bar rest are the biggest issue here. They sit very close to the arm rest and make it extremely hard to un-rack and rack heavier weights. The width of the bar rest is great. I don’t have to adjust my hands when racking the weight as to not pitch my fingers between the bar and bar rest but even the height of the adjustable bar rest is horrible. With the arm support all the way up and the bar rest all the way down it’s perfect for me. I’m only 5’7” though. For someone taller this would be a huge problem. This is by no means a bad product. It definitely serves its purpose and for the price it’s probably a good pick up for most people. Would I by it again? Most likely not for me. Maybe for my 12 year old nephew. Seems like the perfect starter arm machine for kids that are just getting into working out.

Unsafe!
So from this page you can either order the squat rack or the preacher curl bench. The majority of these reviews seem to be for the squat rack, but mine is for the preacher curl bench. I'm not sure why these reviews aren't separated, as my decision to purchase this preacher curl bench was off of the 4-star rating on the front page. This was very easy to set up. The instructions were just an illustration on one page, but that was good enough for me. There are 3 issues with this bench, though. 1) the end poles for the bar are way too close to the arm rest. I'm 5'6" and I *still* have issues replacing the bar without having to scoot back on the seat. 2) The arm rest is too narrow. My elbows end up on the edges. 3) The entire bench TIPS OVER if you shift your weight at all while sitting on the seat! Taking a look at the design, this is because there is no support in the back to stabilize the bench. The only support is in the front. This is an absolutely terrible design, and not to mention dangerous to the user. DO NOT buy this bench until they come out with a redesign!
