It is really good and makes ice quickly. It is a very small basket of ice but definitely enough for two people

I wanted something that wasn’t huge so it could sit it on my counter top. It is a little noise when it’s emptying, but that because I have an open concept so I can hear it operating. That’s when I simply turn it off and then restart later. It’s quick to make ice so that’s not a problem. This is not for a large family or crowd if you want a lot of ice at one time. I got the stainless model and it complements my appliances very well. Easy to use and compact enough to take along or store. Great price and quality. Definitely recommend! Also… there is a film protector on the stainless models incase you are unclear about the color selection as I’ve read in the reviews.

We love this ice machine. After reading many reviews and watching user videos, I decided on this one for its cost, ease of use and cleaning, ice production, and small size for sitting on the countertop. We use a lot of ice and our fridge ice maker does not work well sadly. We waited the recommended 24 hours, leaving the machine upright in the box. Then we loaded it with water, plugged it in, and pressed the button; it began making ice within 6 minutes. (we tossed the first 5 batches or so as rec.) It has a slight hum when it is on, but nothing bothersome to us. Some say this ice cannot be frozen, or it turns into a block of ice, but we figured out a way that works for us. Once the ice basket is full, we dump the ice in a bin in our freezer. After we get a good amount of ice in the bin, we break it up with an ice pic We may have to do this a couple of times, but we are ok with that for the amount of ice we can produce over a few hours. This is our second Silon ice machine. The first one turned on but never made ice. We returned with no hassle and ordered the one we now have. It just must have been a bad machine. We are thankful the return was easy.

Update: NOT HAPPY😡. 12/23/2024 Machine making loud noise and making NO ICE. I’m sick of these ice machines not working. This time I have warranty. Will place a claim. 11/10/24. Two months in and ice STILL ACCESSIBLE! 10/1/24. So far so good. 1 month in and making perfect pebble ice. Never have to wait. Always available for family of 4 who uses ice. I’m pleased. Been thru 3 with last 2 not working with 1st year. 1st ice machine bought in 2020 lasted 4yrs working constantly. NOT LOUD. Love the backlight and convenience of pull out tank. Sept 2024 purchased ice machine

I bought this for an elderly couple that I live with. They were using old fashioned ice trays, and he was having trouble refilling and stacking them in the freezer. I had brought this to their attention some time ago, and they of course said, "nawww.. We don't neeed that!" Well? I got it for them anyway, and it is absolutely a blessing! 1. Shipment was very fast. 2. It was packed, and received well. 3. It took literally 3 minutes to set up. A few minutes after I added water to the tank, it began to do its thing. We all had fun watching in amazement how it would fill up the tray (2 sizes available) and dump them into its bin as if some robot was inside. The ice cubes are soft enough for her to sit and chew on them all day, as they don't get as cold as regular freezer cubes. It also has to do with the shape. They dissolve almost immediately in water or soda etc. but leave it nice and cold. It's good for about 3 to 4 people to get a fair amount of ice for their drink, and it instantly starts up the process of making more. It's very sparing on the water, so we have to maybe fill it once a day, but again.... It is used CONSTANTLY. It's quiet, it's easy for anyone to use, and it works fast. We have freed up a large amount of space in the freezer, and I don't have to worry about any of them falling on ice or water that spills on the floor. I would wholeheartedly recommend this for anyone's office, or home. You WILL find a need for it! It doesn't produce a huge amount, but it produces enough, and fast enough.

IF you have some horizontal space, that is not in use, and you like ice, this is a great machine. You do need to refill it manually, and I recommend using filtered water. The machine is hard to clean, but makes ice well and quickly. The ice tastes like the water you put into it. If it is really hard water, then it will make your machine gum up faster... there was no added metalic taste to the water from using this machine. This is a bit loud, but does the job nicely. I will say that you need to make sure and leave room next to the fan, so that it can cool the motor and doesn't ruin it from heat. Good machine.

This ice maker is PERFECT! I had a bigger ice maker that just stopped working so I ordered this one while it was on sale. When I first got this I thought it was a little small but perfect if you don’t have much counter space and I was surprised that it makes the same amount of ice as my old ice machine and better quality ice! 2nd picture shows how much ice is left after filling my 40oz tumbler and my toddlers 16oz tumbler, the ice does melt after a while as other reviews suggest but with how fast it makes ice it’s no problem to pop it on and have fresh ice in minutes. The only thing that I dislike about this machine is that I really don’t see a difference in the size of ice. Ice tastes good and this machine is easy to set up! Definitely satisfied with my purchase. Update‼️2 years later and it’s still going strong I ended up getting a new refrigerator with an ice maker so I gave it to my mom and it’s still working great! They have 3 adults in their house who use it Daily. Definitely worth the money!

Wir haben die Eiswürfelmaschine seit Anfang des Jahres in Betrieb und sind restlos begeistert. Die Bedienung ist unkompliziert, die Reinigung problemlos die die Qualität überzeugt einfach. Ruckzuck sind die ersten Eiswürfel nach dem Einschalten fertig. Und weil sie so leise ist, stört sie überhaupt nicht. Wenn der Wassertank leer ist, oder der Eiswürfelkorb voll, stoppt sie automatisch - einfach perfekt! Sie hat bei uns bereits jetzt einen festen Platz in der Küche und ist seit den ersten warmen Tagen im Dauer Einsatz!

Really pleased with this machine. It’s quiet and makes either small or large bullet shaped ice very quickly. It comes with a white plastic scoop. Going to be used a lot in the summer!
