I very seldom write reviews, but I felt it necessary for this product. We have two 3 year-old male brother, golden retrievers, One of which has always had itchy skin, and during the summer months when we take them to the lake is absolutely miserable. So much so, that we ended up putting him on 10 mg of prednisone for two weeks and then lowering it to 3 mg the rest of the summer out of desperation to help our boy. shampoo and diet did nothing for him. His coat was also dull to the point he looked sick. I probably read over 100 reviews on this product and with a whole lot of skepticism. Thought I would give it a try. Both the pups didn’t care for the taste. Tried to hide it in foods but didn’t have any luck getting them to eat these. Then I tried the squeeze tube of sour cream at the grocery store and they gobble them up with no more hassle. Within the first week we noticed our pup wasn’t itching anymore and within three weeks. His coat coming back in and looking healthy. We are on our second container of these and he looks terrific just like his brother. I should add that our boys are big lads, 111 pounds each. I hope someone else reads this, and it helps them also, because it has been life-changing for our boy. Highly recommend this product!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought & started this product 6wks ago strictly for reducing shedding. I wanted to give the product time to work before writing a review. So, my beagle mix sheds like crazy. After much research I decided to try these as it stated it would reduce shedding. After 6wks, I've noticed no reduction whatsoever in her shedding. I must admit, her fur does look nicer. It's shinier & perhaps even thicker. It actually seems like she grew more hair! But unfortunately, more hair means more shedding! Ugh!! I can't say if it did anything with her joints as she's been taking Cosequin for months for her joints & that's been working. (She's almost 12) Before writing this review I read the description again & noticed it stated it's recommended 2 of these "treats" per day for a 50-75 lb dog. The product container says 3 is recommended for that weight. I've been giving my dog 3 per day as the package says but that was a consideration I had before purchasing these. My dog loved these "treats"! They're small & chewy. If you need this type of supplements for any other reason aside from shedding, I'd highly recommend it. Your dog's fur will look noticably better. These just didn't work to reduce shedding which is what I was hoping to do. .

Bought these after reading they can help dogs with seizures. My new rescue has had two scary episodes and although the vets don’t want to diagnose her just yet because they happened to far apart, I did my research and found some interesting information about the neurological benefits of omega supplements. At first she took them just find but she gradually stopped showing an interest and now she’ll even spit them out so I have to disguise them with other treats. I’ll continue giving them to her until they’re gone but I will probably have to find some other flavor because she’s just not a fan. I’m sure the properties are still greatly beneficial to pups.

I’ve been researching various canine supplements for awhile now in hopes of finding an effective supplement I can use to treat Buddy’s relentless scratching of hot spots. Surprisingly, after Buddy’s has now taken these natural chews for the past 3.5 weeks, I’m grateful at how effective they’ve been at diminishing Buddy’s scratching and preventing any hot spots (which also means Buddy no longer requires the use of a prescription medication 👍).I love that these natural chews are healthy and contain Omega 3,6,9 fatty acids, as well as multiple vitamins and minerals. It provides me with comfort knowing that each chew provides a sufficient source of fish oil & essential fatty acids which help support Buddy’s heart, immune system, & skin health.To be frank with you, it brings joy to my heart each time Buddy follows me to the kitchen and then gets excited when I go retrieve and open this container. It makes me feel happy and relieved as a “fur mom” that I’ve finally found something that’s providing NATURAL & sustained relief of Buddy’s previously uncomfortable hot spots (so much that he no longer needs any prescribed medication).I’m not sure how I can quantify the relief I now feel knowing that Buddy no longer requires a prescription to assist him from his previously incessant scratching. One thing for sure is that both Buddy and I would like to express our gratitude to Pawfectchow for these healthy & natural chews/treats that have been efficacious at preventing Buddy’s incessant scratching and hot spots. We wanted to easily add some fish oil to our dogs diets and this fits the bill. We’re on our 3rd order of these chews. We have 2 male cockers and 1 female cocker spaniel with a slow thyroid. During treatment for her thyroid she got the worst case of flaky skin I’ve ever seen on a dog. We started these chews and by the end of the first container her skin was already better. Now her skin is all cleared up and all of our dogs coats are so soft and shiny! We add the treats to their meals, but they will eat them alone as treats as well. Love this!

I've ordered these treats before and they seem to work well. I have a little boy Pomeranian who has skin and hair loss issues. They have not worked miracles, but have definitely helped with his issues. Both my Pomeranian's like the taste and have no digestive issues with them.

I didn't really notice any difference but it might work for other people my dog like them
