Excellent value and it works perfectly. I'm a long term Apple desktop user and just couldn't afford the official RAM. I'd used alternative brands before with success and although I was initially surprised at the price of the Komputerbay products, and a little bit nervous at the unknown brand, decided to give it a go. The order was delivered promptly and I installed them easily. I am very happy with the results and fully intend using Komputerbay again.

Seeing as I have an older Dell T5200 system that uses ECC DDR2 that was in need of a bit more grunt, I decided to try up my system ram from 4GB to 12GB before going through the expense of replacing the entire system. The Komputerbay memory works quite happily alongside the existing Dell branded ram in the pc and I have had no issues with it at all. It passed memcheck with flying colours and my Linux installation has not complained in the slightest about it. Highly recommended for someone wanting to augment an existing system with compatible ram

I bought the 8 GB fully buffered memory upgrade for a used HP XW8600 Xeon Quad-core workstation, which was in desperate need of additional memory. It worked perfectly right away and has been doing so ever since (appr. 1 month full time on). Concerning that, please do remember to use the correct memory slot configuration for these FB dimms, as described by the computer manufacturer (HP in my case). Compared to the competition this memory was the most affordable option at the time, and given the no hassle at all factor I can fully recommend it!

I purchase the product to upgrade the memory of a Dell Precision 690. The installation is straight forward, without even need for a screwdriver. The PC now runs at the full 16GB with Windows 7 64-bit. I feel the price is very reason and the product is great value for money.

Don't do like me! If you want to upgrade a "normal" PC this is not the product you want. It is FB-DIMM DDR2 and not usual DDR2. See wikipedia for the difference: [...]

I have bitten the bullet and decided to go green by upgrading my computers rather than replacing them. I got a 4GB memory upgrade for an iMac from Komputerbay and it worked just fine. So I got another 8GB for my PC from Komputerbay: on the first try, I got the spec slightly wrong, but this was returned to Komputerbay with no fuss. The replacement was exactly right, turned up almost immediately and has been working perfectly non-stop since it was fitted. They would be my first stop for any further upgrades.

For those of you thinking of purchasing this RAM to save abit of money (dell and HP charge rediculous money for old RAM) and gee up an old server/workstation I can heartly recommend this brand. I have successfully fitted it to a old(ish) dell server and a HP server with no problems with compatibility etc. The model numbers escape me but I have had them running now for a month with no errors whatsoever

The item arrived quickly and well packaged. Very good vendor. It worked prefectly in my Dell Precision 490. It is fully compatible with the workstation and has noticably boosted performance for Windows 7. The computer had some branded ram in before, but I can see no difference in the build quality. I reccommend this item for those needing FBDIMMs but not at the inflated prices of the large companies.
