We actually are using this for hat storage. I was looking for a clear, but sturdy storage solution for our kiddos hats. He has so many and after the over-the-door storage didn't really work for us, I knew I had to look down other avenues. It's great as it holds and protects all of his hats. We got about 8 hats in there and it is pretty stuffed. It's nice that it has the door for easy access when he wants to wear one. Big plus that it is clear so he can see what he's got as well. Would buy again.

Actually using it to display a model plane - easy and solid assembly, not delicate - very clear plastic with some flexibility - door hinge and snap very simple and works

The instructions weren't very detailed. There were pictures and a brief description on how to assemble it. Nor were the instructions in a specific detail. They were scattered from one side of the page to the second. It took me a couple of attempts to get it to assemble. But once I got it assembled, I was quite happy with the finished product.

First off I collect Jordan 5's and Jordan 9's I have well over 45 in total. I was using the actual shoebox which was becoming difficult to manage to say the least. I found these on Amazon and the price got me first. $44 for 5 boxes is a good deal. I got the black because I like the look. But with other sneaker boxes costing way too much, these seemed worth a try. They are extremely easy to assemble. I hear I got so good I could put a box together in under 30 seconds. I wear a size 9 so the size is perfect even with hi-tops. The sneaker box is just okay... I mean you always get what you pay for.I just told the pro's and here are the con's... the quality control is horrible and I'm being nice. The clear acrylic front door pivots on two little pegs that often break off or just come broken. The door still closes, just have push tight against the big and it stays. BUT the biggest problem of all is the way they attach to each other... it's atrocious. There's these little black plastic pegs all attached in row on small plastic stick and you have to twist each one off and they are not all completely formed. Some of them snap into place and some don't. I ended up putting super glue in the holes where the pegs go to keep them secure. Which is fine but when trying connect them side to side... this is where the really suck. Some of the pegs snap to one another while others don't. So some of the boxes don't feel very secure.I have six boxes across and ten boxes up. It's the whole wall! Like I said it's okay for the price but I certainly wouldn't put any real weight in them or on them. Shoes are it. Don't man handle them. Treat them gently.I hope this review was helpful. What I did end doing, I was buying several boxes would create another box of the defective ones and send that box back of 5 back to Amazon. Good luck, they're nice sneaker boxes, I like em. Wish they were sturdier and had better quality control but for the price you can't beat it.

It was not just difficult to put it together, but the fact that I need to use silicone glue to make it stick together which it wasn't not supposed to be necessary to begin with. The shoe storage is very flimsy and easily breakable. I really recommend finding something else for your shoes to be stored in.

We cannot attest to how well it works for shoes, as you can see we used it for a closed diorama to prevent sticky fingers from taking things, as they did with my sons project. It assembled very easily and seems very solid,held together being carried and even held up to hot glue and craft glue.
