Is the cord stiff enough to thread through a hole in small pearls without a needle as the hole is too small to pass a needle through.

I bought this to re thread a bracelet and it had to therefore be stretched before threading, so it may be okay to use without a needle.

Has this cord got a shine to it?

It's just clear cord, no shine on the one I have.

What is its stretch factor (eg: x 1.5 .... 2.0 .... ?) before breaking?

It fixes my bracelet really well, it has to stretch a lot to go over a fist, maybe x 3 , you would have to pull really hard to break it
