My dog really likes it but he has already chewed the "handle" off the tennis ball looking cover. I wish it was a little larger because our lab mix puppy would then push it around and it would keep moving. With it's size, he just picks it up and carries it around. He does seem to like it. Easy to charge and use although without the cover I worry he could expose the insides of it so he only gets it when supervised. **UPDATE** we removed the tennis ball cover completely. The ball in hard enough that our puppy can't chew it up and he absolutely LOVES this thing. Even when it rolls under/behind furniture, it eventually comes back out and he has so much fun with it!!

We got this for our 20 lb pug who is a very aggressive chewer. He absolutely lives it and will play with it for hours. The drawback for me is the over is not durable and comes off and tears easily. There is a plastic plug to protect the charge port but once the cover is off it easily pops out and he chews and loses it. The first ball we ordered he damaged the port so that it would no longer charge Overall it’s a really good product to help dogs get rid of some energy, I just wish it was a bit more durable I. The cover and maybe make the protective plug harder for a dog to remove

Got this product for our 8 month only puppy who has way too much energy and we often time finding our arm getting tired of throwing the ball before he loses any energy. I got this as our house is all laminated hardwood flooring. Works great just as intended. Only issues I have is the bouncing mode is very aggressive and tends to scare him. I didn't think about it until after I purchased it and used it for a few times that I wish it had some sort of remote control or app as it tends to run into walls, have odd patterns, or just overall get stuck. Another issue is it acts like it shuts off and dies after 5 minuites give or take, but when I go to pick it up to charge it or turn it back on, the light immediately goes on and it begins to move once more. As this one seems to have mixed reviews, at the time of purchase, it was the cheapest one. This is his first interactive dog toy so I wanted to get a cheaper one to see if he would even like it first. Keeps his curiosity for hours. All I have to say is it seems to be a really hard and breakable plastic so he can only use it supervised to make sure he doesn't begin to chew on it. Overall I am pleased with this purchase for what I got.

This ball has two speeds, slow and fast. It's lightweight and durable, and can withstand gnawing. The ball is triggered by touch and after a couple revolutions it automatically stops. The ball comes with a charging cord, two yellow tennis ball covers, and a replacement rubber stopper for the power button. This was a great buy!!

I got this toy for my cat, as my cat gets bored easily and pesters me while I'm working remotely. The idea is great in principle - she loves to "hunt" and chase things, as well as swat at basically anything smaller than her. I figured this toy would give her something to stalk and chase.After charging the toy and watching it run, my cat was initially fearful. She's cautious around new things, so that was no surprise. I gave her some time to adjust to the toy so she'd be less afraid. However, as I have observed the toy, I have noticed a few key trends:- This toy is spectacularly stupid. It tends to get lodged under things, frequently. It also makes a ruckus when it slams into things. This makes it really bad as an automated cat toy if a human needs to reset it all the time.- The toy is hyperactive while in "active" mode. It zips around, spins wildly, and repeats ad nauseam. Only sometimes does it pause, and this is when my cat is most interested in the toy. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold in the "pause" position for more than a few seconds before repeating the hyperactive behavior.- The "sticks" the baubles are held onto are flimsy, and look very brittle. They also offer very few attachment points for your own custom toys.- The toy is in active mode for 10 minutes, then just goes limp into its inactive state for about an hour and a half. After that hour and a half, it suddenly wakes up and begins its hyperactive behavior. My cat has usually fallen asleep by this point and will be startled awake.- The toy frequently needs charging (once every day or two for nearly an hour). The 10 hyperactive minutes seem to drain the battery quickly.Recommendations for a better product:- Make this thing way less hyperactive. Give it more pauses, don't make it spin wildly (one of the strange behaviors it has right now). This hyperactive behavior scares cats and doesn't feel like something that can be hunted. This would help with some of the battery issues as well.- Make the sticks for baubles more sturdy, and add better attachment points for custom toys. My cat loves to chase paracord - this toy would be great to stick some paracord onto.- Try to improve the intelligence on this thing for avoiding obstacles. Or allow the user to set "boundaries" for the toy to follow.- Make the toy cat-activated rather than human/automatic activation. This will prevent rude awakenings for the cat and make it feel more interactive and rewarding.- Try to improve the battery life.

Our Frenchie loves this toy but her first order of business is removing the tennis ball cover. Keeps her busy!

The media could not be loaded.  Pup loved this from the minute it arrived. At nearly 6 months he was getting bored with his soft toys. This rattles and moves which keeps him interested. He can’t bite it which has meant it’s not getting destroyed. I give it him twice a day for 10 mins and take it off him so he won’t get bored. Yes it’s expensive for a simple mechanical toy but good value for the pups entertainment.

This is an amazing toy my dog has been delighted with since its arrival a week ago. Solid, durable, energetic rolling and bouncing on wooden floors and on the grass. Easy recharge. Excellent.
