ACTUALLY glass!
I didn't think these were ACTUAL glass...but they are! They are really cool and very fancy looking. Out of the box, they look very nice. Each file is in it's own clear sleeve so you can see it's sleek profile and colorful handle. Does it work? Sort of. It will file your nails, but you can't be as aggressive as you might be with a traditional file. Also note, if you drop it on a travertine tile floor it will break (hey - it's glass - womp womp). I know from experience.... I guess I can't have cool things

Beats emery boards by a mile
Gives fast trimming leaving a smooth, snag-free surface on nails. Much better than clippers and an emery board.

Works as expected
These aren't my first go round with glass nail files. I've become a fan of them over normal files because they don't tear my thin, weak nails all up and they are washable. They last far longer, in fact mine have never dulled or wore away like the paper files, and the only reason I even had to replace mine was because it broke, which is probably the only downside to a glass file, you drop it or accidentally step on it if it fell, it will likely break. I like that this came in a 3 pack because I ended up putting one next to the bed, keeping one in the living room, and putting the last in my purse. Overall a good value for 3, easy to use and clean, and leaves the edges of my nails smooth. Would definitely buy again if or when I ever need to replace them.

I’ve tried lots of brands. These are the best files that give the best finish.
I made the switch to glass nail files years ago. They really solve the problem of rough edges that cause snags and tears. I’ve almost completely stopped needing a buffer, because these glass files not only shave down your nail edges, but seal the tips as well. The best part is they are super effective for taking down nails shorter, but can be used for delicate shaping work as well. It’s like having a 180 and a 240 at the same time. The are effective enough for filing and shaping nail enhancements, but are still gentle enough for bare natural nails. I didn’t believe it till I tried it myself, but it is true.I have tried lots of brands of glass files over the years, and the best quality are the Czech glass. These are made by my favorite brand. I have them stashed everywhere so I am never more than a few feet away from a glass file in case of a nail emergency. Happy filing!

Great for buffing
Czech Glass Nail File Set 3PCs, Muted Fall Colors Nail Filers by Bona Fide Beauty: I've never used glass nail files before and wondered how they would compare with my diamond dust metal files. I have very short, natural nails which bend and tear at the slightest provocation. These are very smoooooth and make it easy to buff out issues before they become a problem. All three appear to be the same abrasiveness. I now have them stashed around the house. Though I won't travel with them due to concerns about breakability. OTOH, they must sail through TSA checks without problem.
