Kyle's Bed & Breakfast

Comic Book Supreme!
A huge picture window (almost as big as the impossibly expensive triangle of glass in Kyle's bedroom) into the who, what, why, where and when of being gay. Beautifully laid out and rendered large scale cartoon/comic/drama of life, liberty, and damn near everything else from a witty and clearly stated gay point of view. A collection of a previously printed (biweekly) stories. ~8 panels per episode each story completely presented in one or sometimes two, episodes in a "Days of Our Lives" ongoing serialized story deftly presented by Greg Fox in (now) three volumes, the first two black and white line drawings. Color appears in the third volume. The problem being that there is (currently) no fourth, fifth, sixth, or twenty-seventh volumes. The raciest items in this collection: the baseball playing closet case who's constantly walking around the B&B in his Jockey shorts and the community showers in the basement where you can catch a quick peek at some very nice naked behinds. Extremely entertaining for gays, straights and those somewhere in-between, Mr. Fox's work can also be quite educational.Greg Fox's work has a serious side. Political and social comment on some of the concerns of the gay community. A few well aimed barbs pointed at clueless people, gay and straight both have their foibles punctured by Mr. Fox's rapier wit. Should I mention the obsessed woman who is so focused on her preconceived prejudices that she calls the police on the black man--instead of noticing that he's bleeding to death and desperately needs an ambulance to stop the bleeding instead of a cop to help him retrieve his keys that are locked inside his car. Sadly, I've seen the (terminal) results of this in real life.Hugely engaging and fascinating, well worth your time, money and attention! Buy all three yesterday! ;-)))

B & Bs -The Bees's Knees!
It made me laugh! The drawings of the cartoons are so well drawn and amusing. Classics of their kind! I just love cartoons anyway and these are some of the best I have ever found. Intriguing to learn about a world so distant from my own, and I don't just mean across the Atlantic!Recoomended!

I wish Kyle’s was a real place, I LOVED IT!!!
I LOVED all five books....I’m all caught up, from the 1st strip to to strip #557. I give Greg Fox praise for a comic with a diverse multicultural cast that doesn’t appropriate other cultures, it’s inclusive in all the best ways. If you looking for drama and comedy this is the strip for you!!!!

My friend said he liked the book.
Bought for my friend. He said he liked it, but maybe he was just being kind since it was a gift. It was in the newspaper though, so if it really sucked, it probably wouldn't have been in the newspaper, although there are some comics in the newspaper that sucks, so that is no guarantee. But the drawings look pretty good.

Great way to catch up on the backstory
I have been reading the bi-weekly comic strip for years and was glad to see the first book re-printed. Now I was able to read all the strips from the very beginning.

Kyle and his friends let you see themselves at their unguarded best!
Thanks Greg Fox for creating a family of Gay characters that come alive in pictures and words. I have come to love Kyle and his group of friends who live or stay at his always active Bed and Breakfast. You get to know and see these guys and have them reveal themselves as to their personalities and at their nude best. I love Kyle and his friends!
