Needed a hair dryer for a holiday in the US as the Dyson we own doesn’t support 120 volts and hotel dryers are usually useless, this hair worked brilliantly and compact for travelling

Not sure why this was the more expensive one out of the two options available as both come with a case!? Regardless of that the hairdryer is so efficient! Hairdryers are so heavy and a lighter one was needed for the recipient so this one was selected. The performance is more than expected for it being a foldable travel hairdryer!

Good little hair dryer but why I gave it only 4 stars was because of the travel case as it’s far too big even to go in a normal case for the holidays and would take up too much space - so I think the case is such a waste - however hair dryer is nice and light and dries hair fine

The GHD travel hairdryer is ideal for every day use. It is lightweight. The handle tapers smoothly providing easy grip for anyone using it. The power is equal or better than my previous hairdryer of 2000 KW despite the kilo-wattage being less.On opening the travel case my initial impression was not so high. For I found that there is only one switch to control drying power and drying temperature, when I had previously had two. The GHD has an integrated switch that controls both the drying power and drying temperature. The switch has three levels, the first being cold with a low power output, the second medium hear with a low power output and then final one being a high heat and high power output, this actually made controlling the temperature and drying power easier.The GhD is a compact hairdryer and is easier to use so, for me, this is my every day hairdryer.For me, the GHD designers missed an opportunity when they designed this hairdryer, that is, the plug. Given it is marketed as a travel hairdryer then the plug should be adaptable to different regions so that it is not necessary to carry a separate adapter when travelling overseas. Maybe this could be addressed in a newer model.My criticism aside, this is an excellent product so deserves a rating of five stars.

An excellent hairdryer for travel; speedy dry with a smooth, sleek finish and no frizz. Overall rating is for the large, heavy faux leather ‘hairdryer’ bag which is completely useless if you need to travel light. A lightweight pouch with a draw cord would be far more useful. Frustrating to pay for a bag that is (a) impractical for travel and (b) will most likely end up in landfill.
