I was hesitant to buy an aftermarket battery, but this one has worked great so far. Our Dyson was barely holding a charge, and we even thought the motor was failing since max suction mode had stopped working. After installing this new battery, not only is the vacuum running like new, but max mode works again too—so it turns out the old battery was the issue all along. The included tools made installation quick and easy. Hopefully, it holds up long-term, but for now, it’s been a great fix.

Having my vacuum for 18 yrs now the vacuum still work great. The original battery was getting slow and only lasting for 10 min. So I ordered a new one. I have had if for a few weeks now and the battery has never run out. It is just like a new one. I searched Amazon for the right one. It helps if you take a picture of the battery you have now. I removed the one so I could watch the videos to make sure I choose the correct one. Be sure to have the numbers that are on your battery now. All of the searching was well worth it! Amazon is very efficient on things like that. The vacuum cost $250.00 and now the same on cost $599.00. So like I said it was well worth it.

I had high hopes for this 21.6V 6.0Ah replacement battery, but unfortunately, it’s been a huge letdown. At first, it worked well—providing a solid charge and powering my device without issues. However, after just five months of occasional use, the battery barely holds a charge anymore.Now, instead of lasting for hours, I’m lucky if I get even two minutes before it completely drains. I’ve tried proper charging techniques, and I always store it correctly, but nothing seems to help. For the price, I expected much better durability and longevity.A battery should last longer than just a few months—this feels like a waste of money. If reliability is what you’re looking for, I’d recommend considering other options.

This fit perfectly in my Dyson, and works and charges as described. I give 4 stars because there’s a little bit of a lag when I start it, feels “after market”, but worth it for being 1/3 the price of the Dyson battery. Vacuumed my whole apt with no issues.I did have trouble getting the screws off the old battery, and actually broke the screw driver that came with this battery, so be careful. But I used a drill on the lowest setting to gently loosen them and then they all unscrewed fine.

The original battery didn't last near as long as it should have. I was happy to find this replacement that was reasonably priced and easy to install.

The battery for my Dyson stick vacuum finally went kaput. It no longer held a charge of more than a couple minutes of runtime. I contacted the D, the manufcturer, for the correct replacement part and was surprised that a replacement battery was over $100. So, I turned to Amazon and purchased an equivalent replacement battery for a third of the price. The new battery fit right in place and is now powering my wonderful stick vacuum.

Works great as a replacement to my genuine Dyson battery that crapped out on us. I read in another review that there was a delay when you press the on trigger on the vacuum, and it is true, but it’s like 1 second. So not a big deal. We’ll see how long this lasts. I’ll update this review if there is anything noteworthy after a period of use.
