ArcadiaACR18 Dry Vivarium Controller, 18 Watt

First of all, this is no fault of the seller who has been fantastic in dispatching quickly and approving a refund.The controller does not work. It's extremely frustrating as another buyer suggested replacing the starter, which also doesn't help. I've tried replacing the starter and fuse to no avail (4w-65w starter and 3A fuse). I was using an Arcadia 30w UVB bulb with the 30w controller.The plug can't be opened or rewired so there's really nothing else I can try to fix this faulty equipment. I'll be submitting a complaint to Arcadia directly, as there a few others here who have reported the controller not working.

When product arrived it clearly had a previous owner. The box was clearly already opened and the parts inside were not clean nor were they new. Some parts are missing a screw inside and the battery rattles about with tiny movement.Also the device gets very hot so hot it cannot be touched, after speaking to other reptile experts this isn’t right and a brand new device does none of the things above.So I had to buy another somewhere else...

Managed to install fairly easily but I should really have purchased the one with leads that unplug. Very pleased with it all the same.

Arrived quickly, works as it should, but not all parts that are in the manual that comes with it (no written instructions, just pictures) are supplied. Fortunately I found another way to attach the bulb to the roof of the vivarium.

Great value for money, cheapest i found of this product, very pleased, fits in vivarium perfectly easy to switch on and off , cord is long enough to reach a socket ,used for a bearded dragon

This is good as you can set it for any size of bulb. Holds well. Works perfectly.

Arrived well packaged though the first unit that arrived was faulty but the seller was quick to arrange an exchange at no cost to myself. I would recommend this seller and product.

I bought this too replace a identical unit that finally failed me after over 10 years. It's running a 30w 90cm tube for my Bearded Dragon no problem at all. Some people who are leaving reviews on here saying it does not work should try replacing the starter too see if that works?
