Obsessed with these
This sleep mask is totally amazing. I'm the kind of sleeper that usually rotates like a 7/11 hot dog and wakes up throughout the night constantly. After three nights using this mask I've noticed that I'm not moving around as much and I barely register waking up since the blackout works so well and I go right back to sleep no problem. When I'm on my side or my stomach the mask doesnt dig into my face or move around too much as long as I have the strap adjusted properly. The only thing is that when I do wake up its a little more intense but its also easier to get up without snoozing my alarm since there's a much clearer boundary now between sleeping and waking up vs just lying in bed trying to sleep. Was also worried about the mask irritating my skin or causing breakouts and although its only been three days i havent had problems with that yet. 10/10 never going back.

Great would buy again!
Works great, perfect for traveling. Blocks all the light and stays on my head well throughout the night. Would buy again! Super soft and lightweight over my eyes. I use while traveling and at home.

Best quality for value of 9 brands tested! Great Mzoo dupe
Correction on Albatross and FengXinZi 3D, and updating review after rotating a few masks on a 2 week trip: Have owned the Mzoo mask for a while but wanted to get more/backups. I saw another review that looked at several different sleep masks and found it pretty helpful but wanted to expand into a few other brands not on their list, see if there were other gems. Iโve listed my favorites below from highest rated to lowest and put in the price range (sale/full) and my overall rating out of 10. For reference, my nose bridge is not very tall and my face isnโt super wide, so the fit on my face may yield different results than someone with a very different facial profile. I also usually sleep on my back. After trying these, I would keep the, SmartRest, ZGGCD, Albatross and FengXinZi 3D. Time will tell how well these hold up to usage and washing. If I find one of these falling apart or losing shape completely after hand washing, Iโll update the review. Albatross - $8/10 - 9.5/10 My partnerโs favorite mask, with deep eye sockets which are great for those with long lashes. Nose area is very soft, and the whole mask feels lightweight and doesnโt seem to apply much pressure on the face. This mask similar to Gritin for the ridges and how deep and wide the eye sockets are, but material is closer to FengXinZi (foam). 98% blackout which is really good. The eye socket area looks wider than FengXinZi so maybe thatโs good if you have a wider face too. My partner also says this doesnโt slide around as much during the night like the Albatross mask doesโhe says he forgets he has it on and when he wiggles his cheeks it doesnโt slide. A really good mask for its price and also comes with a carrying bag and soft ear plugs. I wish the padding was a little silkier and flatter on the face but itโs amazing for blackout and not very expensive either. SmartRest - 2 for $13 - 9.5/10 This one is probably the best quality for the value of being just $6.50 a mask. A really great dupe for Mzoo and still cheaper than ZGGCD! 97% blackout, material feels like Mzoo on the inside. Like Mzoo, itโs not as deep on the eye sockets as masks like the 3D/ so long lashes may find this uncomfortable, but overall the ridges are flatter so this may be more comfortable for side sleepers and those who donโt want to feel the ridges as much. And the silky material feels more cooling on my skin than the foam material ones. Very underrated for its value! FengXinZi 3D - $10/14 9/10 This might be the best blackout one Iโve tried (100%) for my face shape and nose bridge. Wraps very closely around the face and eyes and is soft around the nose, but while itโs very soft, itโs more foam-like than the silky material of Mzoo/ZGGCD. The ridges on the inside are also pronounced (on the taller side) but thereโs no hard border like on the Gritin so itโs more bearable for side sleepers. Also has very deep eye sockets, deeper than Gritin, so better for those with very long lashes that would brush against a mask like Mzoo/ZGGCD. Eye sockets arenโt as wide out though so they wrap around my face well but for wider faces, maybe the blackout effect will be different. Scored a little lower because my partner said it slides up his face a bit during sleep so that it seems to almost dig into the groove below his eyes, which disrupts his sleep. ZGGCD - $10/16/20 9/10 The closest dupe for the Mzoo mask. It felt just slightly plusher or softer than the Yiview one. On sale, theyโre around $10 which is very affordable for being comfortable and 98% blackout. At full price, itโs still about half the price of Mzoo at full price. Like Mzoo, the ridges are flatter so would be more comfortable for side sleepers, but for super long lashes you may get some eyelash brushing. SmartRest is a better value though than this and performs very similarly! Yiview - $13/15 8/10 Looks identical to ZGGCD but felt slightly less plush when I first wore it. It does recommend washing first though, and maybe thatโs why it felt marginally more firm. Depending on the sale, this is very comparable to ZGGCD so you could go with whichever happens to be cheaper at the time. Similar 97% blackout. Preferred ZGGCD so will be returning. Gritin - $10 - 7.5/10 Pretty good quality for just $10 but has pronounced ridges especially on the lower half which may bother some users like myself. As for the pros, it has deeper eye sockets than Mzoo/ZGGCD so if you have long lashes or extensions, this might help you experience less eyelash brushing. Eye socket area is wider than FengXinZi so maybe better for wider faces too. Has a nice textured look and feel on the outside. Wraps around the face like the FengXinZi 3D but the texture on the inside is more similar to Mzoo/ZGGCD, except around the forehead and cheeks where the ridges are more pronounced than masks like Mzoo/ZGGCD. My main issue with this is that I feel enough pressure from the ridges on my cheeks that it isnโt fully comfortable. About 98% blackout, which is really good. The side ridges arenโt as tall as FengXinZi but it does have a harder border around the edges so for side sleepers this also might be less comfortable. LKY Digital - 3 for $10 - 7.5/10 Higher points for being very economical and also 95% blackout on my face shape, but itโs not as full coverage and not as plush on the face, almost makes me feel like it would leave indents on the skin if you made it tighter. If youโre planning to give away as freebies or willing to just use and toss after a trip, this would be a great economical option. Will be returning as I have no need for these when the other masks are generally better quality and I want them for keeps. Mzoo - $20/30 - 7/10 The first mask I ever tried a few years ago, worked fine but is not cheap, which is the main gripe. I use lots of face product, so Iโd need several to rotate out and air dry after washing. This just isnโt very affordable so thatโs most of the point loss, especially if you need multiple. But itโs comfortable, not very tight, ridges arenโt too tall, and 97% blackout for me with light coming through around the nose. Over time (more than a couple years) it does start falling apart. FlyCoco - $12/13 - 6.5/10 It looks just like the FengXinZi 3D down to the box, so I assumed it was the same mask under a different seller. But while I really liked the FengXinZi mask for its 100% blackout on my face shape, this was more like a 95% blackout. Also has more negative reviews about smell (I didnโt notice a bad smell) so Iโd go with the more reviewed FengXinZi. Preferred FengXinZi so will be returning.

What are you looking for in a mask?
If you haven't tried an eye-cup-type mask in awhile, this one is probably among the current best-in-class. Whether you love or hate it though is a highly individual call. For years, my go-to has been a basic, flat, black silk mask with an elastic strap. You can find tons on Amazon, but lots aren't really silk so much as a synthetic silk-like, satin-y fabric. In my opinion, it's worth seeking out the real deal. When I was going through the worst of a then-undiagnosed dry eye condition and couldn't tolerate anything even touching my lids, I could deal with it IF it were real silk. And the mask helped keep my eyes from drying out more (ouch), particularly in summer when I'd have a bedroom fan, going. (Did you know that lots of people spend a portion of their sleep with their eyes slightly open? Yep, and it can be a problem.) Silk also breathes, which is something I do slightly notice the lack of with the SmartRest mask. I don't know if that's detrimental for me, but all things being equal it seems like my morning eyes are a bit happier after a night in the silk. That said, an unstructured silk mask doesn't block out a lot of light. I tried masks with eye cups and such years ago when I started needing masks, to address that. But, they were really. not. comfortable. This mask is comfortable. Not as much as silk-with-no-eye-cups, but still decidedly comfortable. I can wear it as a side sleeper. I can wear it as a CPAP user. The technology has come along, and it's kind of a marvel how you can make a comfortably soft but structurally firm mask out of unwoven fabric with zero seams. I guess it's extruded or injection molded or something. And it does seem like it is blocking out virtually all of the light pollution in my bedroom, which for me translates to a noticeable sleep benefit. Anyway, I'm currently doing a little back and forth now between the two kinds of masks. Do I want the best feeling one, maybe on nights that are hot and sticky, or when my eyes feel a little gritty? But then it's back to the SmartRest when I just want to get the deepest sleep.

SO GOOD
Comfortable, complete coverage, slept half my Saturday away. I wouldn't ordinarily brag about sleeping until 11am on a Saturday, BUT my weeks/days are long and despite what my momma told me (you can't catch up on sleep), I'll attempt to sleep in on the weekends if I don't have something I have to be up for. However, because my normal wake time is 4:30 am during the week, despite my best efforts 7am is usually the latest I can manage even if I turn all my alarms off. My internal clock takes over, and once my eyes are open I'm up, even if I'm groggy and non-functioning. No more! I've consistently slept very late 4 or 5 Saturdays/or days off (vaca the week of Thanksgiving), with the only change being the use of this eye mask. Streaming sunlight, dogs, noise, nothing affects my morning snooze as it definitely would have in the past. Im literally shocked when I push the mask up and look at the time, and I also know it's a deep sleep because my smart watch tells me so ๐! I tried two brands from Amazon and returned the other. There was no comparison. I don't even feel this mask, it is so comfortable. If there's a bonus, and there is, it's less puffiness and red tired looking eyes every day I wake up well before dawn. I work out in the mornings before work, which is why I wake up so early, and it's become such a habit that it doesn't matter how much/little sleep I get. These help me get more restful sleep even if it's only 4-5 hours. Buy them now if you're looking. Not expensive, but even if they were it's worth every dang penny and I would happily pay it. I used one as an add-on to a gift, I'm ordering two more so if something happens to the one I still have, or if I need to clean/let dry, I won't be without it. Love love love, and can't give these enough stars to correlate to my level of recommendation! One last thing, it's big enough that I'm certain these would provide full coverage for men or women. Big head, small head, wide or narrow set eyes you'll be good. I promise!

Helps me sleep during the day!
I have been using the SmartRest Sleep Mask for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with its quality and performance. The mask is very comfortable and soft, and it fits perfectly on my face. It blocks out all the light, even in the daytime, and helps me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. I like how the mask has extra-wide pockets that prevent any pressure on my eyes, and the memory foam that adapts to my face shape. The mask is also breathable and easy to clean, and the straps are adjustable and secure. The SmartRest Sleep Mask is a great product for anyone who wants to improve their sleep quality and comfort. It is a revolutionary sleep mask that offers a unique design and features that make it stand out from other sleep masks. I would highly recommend the SmartRest Sleep Mask to anyone who is looking for a sleep solution that works. I give it a 5-star rating.

Set an alarm because you will be KNOCKED OUT!!
Perfect!! I was using those cheap sleep masks you get from like a mothers day basket, for yrs and decided to upgrade to these since it was on sale for $4.99 for 2 masks I figured I'd give it a try. These are perfect! They block out all light while still having enough room inside that you can easily open and close your eyes with the mask on. Love that when I lay on my side they stay in place and don't let light in through the nose area! Highly reccomend these they are also soft, comfortable and have an adjustable strap on the back to they will fit everyone perfectly. Buy it!!
