There might have been operator error, but I went through nearly the entire pack before I could get a button to stay on to repair my bike trailer. Even then, the buttons broke right off when unsnapping. I couldn’t a good mounting. Also the tool had an uneven base.

These are screw fasteners, not snap fasteners. These are for fastening a tarp to the gunwales of a freshwater boat. They will not fasten two pieces of fabric together.

This package has a tool that is used to set the cap onto the snap fastener that is mounted on the back side of the material. Problem is that the swaging process doesn't hold. I have tried four times to get one to hold and they always break loose. The metal on the cap post is too weak and it splits. Spend the extra money and get a better quality kit.

Just what I needed.

Used these to fasten a tarp to cover the sandbox. Worked well. Fairly easy and snaps are sturdy.
