They are equal to the task. They are flimsy after they’ve been steeped in water for 24 hours. You probably won’t be able to just pick the bag up, but will have to just dump it out in the trash or compost. For the steeping progress they were fine. I will purchase them again. I’ve used stronger ones, but they are not really needed.

These are great filters for my new cold brew system at an affordable price.

There is a reason these are much cheaper than real Toddy bags. They work, but require the utmost care handling when they're wet or they'll disintegrate, leaving an unholy mess.

DO NOT BUY! I repeat… do not buy these. I was as gentle as possible when trying to pull the bag up and out of the toddy. Tore instantly, then practically disintegrated when i tried to pull the rest out. I’ve never cussed so much at 6am.

This filter is not the same as the Toddy’s filter. The material is much thicker and the filtering process takes longer. I have only used it once. I hope that it will compost like the name brand filter.
