4ft Chartwell Rabbit & Guinea Pig Hutches (Run XL)

This is a good size for our tortoise, it was easy to assemble but a bit flimsy on the joints to screw into. Hatch on top is brilliant for feeding or watering. Its still good value for money.

Very happy with my purchase, big enough that my rabbits had plenty of outside space to run around, very good height and easy top accessible.I have made one adjustment however, and taken out one of the side panels and created a side door to make life easier getting my rabbits in and out. I had a hard time chasing them to pick them up and bring out of the top, so creating a side entrance was perfect.Good value compared to many I had seen on other sites which were more expensive. I have placed a few boards on top as well as my cats insist on lying on top to sleep 🙂

This run is fab, we purchased two to add to our hutches for guests to use in our rabbit boarding area. They are a fantastic size, and the height is great, the rabbits can fully stretch up on back legs and still not touch the top. Each run took me about 30 mins to put together and that was in the heatwave! It is so simple to do, not a chore as usually these things are to build. My only gripe with this run is how u sturdy the centre is where the two middle panels meet. Easy to fix with a small baton of wood and only really an issue when on its side for cleaning, but worth a mention. Overall highly. Recommended

That the easiest to assemble alone though it does recommend 2 people it very long and the wood not very thick to go with it, so a bit flimsy. Certainly not bad though

This was just what I needed for my tortoise for sunny days ( not sure I’d trust him out all night in it). Been out in all weathers and no damage ( I have purchased a trampoline cover for the winter). He loves it out there in the sun. He has a little cave to shade in too. I put extra wood around the bottom as tortoise’s are notorious for climbing. Very happy with my purchase.

The instructions were for a different run, that said it was easy to put together. the run is slightly smaller than 4 by 8 feet.It is flimsy, we have reinforced it with some more wood.

Well made - nice accurate joins etc and easy to put together.This 8x4ft has two long sides joined together - this joint is a little flimsy when making and when erected - so caution will be needed. I used an additional screw - but will probably need a couple of metal L plates to make this last. No cover, so consider this when buying.

I loved the size of this product but the quality of it is really poor, I had to reinforce it with my own pieces of wood in order for me to use it for my two rabbits.
