Very happy with this unit
Works as specified - purchased to replace a failed unit that had been in use for well over 15 years. This time I opted for the humidity version and this has helped address condensation almost completely in our bathroom. The Fittings and Holes lined up exactly with old model so installing was a breeze. They had changed the order of the electrical terminals since the original unit so had to transpose the connections but that was easy enough. It takes a bit of trial and error with the timer and humidity settings, so don't put the cover on until you've played and tweaked a few times, but once set it performs well. Reasonably silent operation given the power of the fan and its extraction capabilities.I'm now considering whether to change the other bathroom unit for this model to get the humidity option.

It's ok but a resistor may not last more than a few years.
After 5 years, it's still as noisy and rattly as it was from new. It works well enough but a large resistor is showing that it's undersized. The heat generated has left burn marks on the circuit board and the plastic casing is starting to brown. I'm not sure I'll buy this again. Also the cabling is not ideal.

Noticeable Improvement
Replaced a smaller and much more basic Acel unit. Inevitably the positioning of the Manrose' exit vent (top left of unit) meant that to re-use the same hole thorough the wall left a gap in the tiles around two sides - top and left side. In my bathroom, was easily filled without being noticeable, but something you might need to think about if replacing an existing one. Re-used existing wiring from separate pull cord switch without any problems. Got the sensitivity on humidity cranked right up so pretty much runs all the time the external light switch is on.Other than that, it's not as loud as the old one, moisture is definitely reduced and recurrent mould has not returned since installation.

Waste of time
Poor performance, if this is a £300 can, I'm a monkey's uncle

Great extractor,
Very powerful extractor, before I purchased this, the condensation in my bathroom wa immense, with water dripping from the walls. However, with this system the walls are totally dry. Only negative point is that it does not seem to come on automatically when the humidity reaches a certain level

Not the best
Humidity control doesn't seem to work. A bit too noisy too..Could be better quality
