I admit that when I see the name Bruno Magli on something my mind doesn't immediately go to giftable Whiskey Glasses, but what a surprise this one was! I got these as a gift for my husband who is a Whiskey officianado, and he absolutely loves them! At first I wasn't sure about these Bruno Magli Whiskey Rock Glasses with Wood Band | Set of 4 | 10-Oz Old Fashion Glasses, mainly because my originally shipment arrived with one of the glasses broken. But I was really happy with the customer service that shipped a replacement right away at no cost. When the second package arrived I was really pleasantly surprised. These glasses are really pretty in person, much prettier than the pictures show. These are very nice quality, albeit the glass is kind of thin and delicate. The wooden band around the middle of the glasses add a sort of artsy appeal as well as a tactile contrast. The glasses themselves have an interesting shape to them, and the glass they are made of has ridges all around. So the wooden band makes the glass not only appealing to look at, but the combination of glass and wood also feel interesting in your hand. These glasses are packed in a gorgeous presentation box, and they would absolutely make a beautiful gift for your favorite Whiskey connoisseur for any special occasion! I would just recommend using care with these glasses, as they are very delicate, and they should never be washed in a dishwasher; only by hand. Overall these glasses are really nice, and I would highly recommend them!

Bruno Magli makes great shoes and leather products. Here, it feels like they're just lending their name --- but that's okay. It's a nice set, elegantly packaged. The glasses are larger than the picture may lead you to believe (though, to be fair, they are described as 10 oz, which reflects this). I'm a little disappointed how thin the actual glass is, but I guess they're meant to be lightweight rather than solid. I assume they're a lot more fragile as a result. The wood band (purely cosmetic) does not wrap all the way around (and needs to be removed for washing, which is easy enough). I think the set would make a nice gift, but I don't see it standing up to heavy use. Such glasses really are just for an occasional whiskey tasting with friends.

Very high end looking glasses. They are on the more delicate/thin side, but very quality made glass.Glasses are symmetrical, free of air bubble and waves inside glass. These are very lightweight with a nicely added touch of an authentic wood band. Be sure to remove wood band before hand washing.It doesn’t say if these are made of borosilicate glass so I do t really want to test out how hot of water these can hold. However, I have brewed hot espresso shots in these with a splash of cream and they held up perfectly fine without cracking. Just be careful if putting warm/hot things in these glasses.I highly recommend these Bruno Magli glasses, they’re beautiful and look exactly as pictured. Would make an exceptional gift for anyone!

These glasses were larger but light-weight than I thought. The wood band only wraps the glass part way. They have a little cheapy feel. They come in a nice gift box.

These look really nice and are very light weight - in fact they feel plastic. I ordered these for a pirate themed date night with my husband and they fit the theme well.

High-end Italian fashion shoe and handbag designer Bruno Magli has certainly branched out with this handsome four-set of whiskey glasses. Expertly packaged in a giftable box with insert care instructions, these glasses with wood-trim centers are ideal for whiskey, cocktails, juice or even water.They are lightweight--in fact so lightweight I thought they were made of plastic until I snapped my finger against the top of the rim to hear the clank. The contoured glass with vertical bevels throughout and wood-ring centers make them attractive without appearing so high end that you would never want to use them. The Bruno Magli logo at the top of the glass is merely a sticker that you can peel off, but the name and logo is etched at the bottom underside of each glass for those who might fear of an imitation.The 10-ounce size for old-fashioneds is a bit conservative--I measured 12 ounces without ice. Also, I have an LG icemaker that makes Craft Ice (round ice that looks like snowballs), and they fit perfectly in the glass. Care instructions include the recommendation to handwash rather than dishwash. The best way to remove the wooden ring in the center of the glass is to simply pull it downwards until it falls off the glass, rather than try to pry it away from the glass' center, which I instinctively wanted to do first.Useful, functional, nicely made, and extremely giftable, this box set is a winner at a reasonable price.Recommended. Made in China.

Simply amazing! These were my second set of Bruno Magli glasses. When I received these, I was not dissaponted. Just like the first set, the packaging and presentation screams excellence. This gift will delight you or anyone immediate upon opening. Every detail of the magnetic slick box presentation to the careful interior packaging will impress. I didn't want to remove the glasses because they looked so beautiful in their "case"!The quality of these four glasses are very high end drinkware. The wood band is just the perfect upscale touch of a luxurious cigar lounge. The band snaps right off for cleaning and the glasses clean easily and safely in the dishwasher.I loved these so much, I also ordered the Bruno Magli option of rock glasses with the leather band. Hard to choose which is better. They are both amazing.For the price, these are of excellent value! I will order more and use as gifts along with a bottle of Scotch or Whiskey to friends and clients for the holidays.
