2-3 coats for coverage
I used this to stain a pink swivel chair purple for my youngest daughter. It's really simple to use, dampen fabric, paint it on with a brush, leave for 2 hours to recoat, the 24 hours to dry. My daughter spilt her water on it around 48 hours after the final coat and I was so worried but no bleeding from the dye at all!

Excellent for upcycling
Used to upcycle a side table. Mixed with a pale grey to lighten the colour.
