Very Strong and Very Thin
As a recent convert from monofilament, I was surprised at how thin this line is – my guess is around 50% thinner. This means I can fit more on my reel, and it also means my smaller baitcasting reel can now hold enough extra line to be a good hybrid setup in case I get a bigger fish on the line while I’m bass fishing. As far as strength, I’m very happy with it. It has no give/stretch, it’s very smooth feeling, and both of these traits lead to smooth casts with excellent sensitivity. I should have switched to braided line years ago.

Smooth Casting, Very Thin Braid
I recently ordered the KastKing Megatron baitcast reel and spooled it with 30lb braid from a different brand. I wasn't happy with how the 30lb braid casted, so I ordered this Booms Savage Braid in 15lb strength. The box stated 15lb/500YD. I've used a number of other brand 15lb braid lines (Spiderwire, Kastking, Diawa, PowerPro, and others) and this Savage braid is by far the smallest diameter. When I spooled it on the KastKing Megatron reel, this reel's spool accepted all of the 15lb braid. I find it hard to believe that this is 500yd, but I don't have a line counter to cross-check.The line casts super smooth and my knots were strong. I really am dreading the day when I get a bad backlash with this line, as it is just so thin diameter I'm going to have trouble picking it free. But in summary, this braid appears like a solid choice, especially for someone with a smaller spool capacity.

flexible - low visibility - low stretch
I ordered the 'green' 15 pound selection. What I like about this is that the line has good flexibility - it isn't stiff and hard to work with. The green should offer low visibility while still allowing me to 'line watch' at least where it enters the water. Lakes around here tend to be less clear than some water I have fished but even in the extremely clear lakes, I have found that green is a good choice to use.The braid construction of this line means that there is no significant stretch designed/built into the line. This allows for better 'contact' with the lure and the ability to set the hook more reliably. With a good drag, I am not concerned about using 15 pound line even in instances where a larger fish could occur. Just the way I fish.5 stars

Solid line, really thin diameter.
I thought I'd try this line in the 30lb fora cat fishing reel. When I spooled it up, i notice 2 things. 1 Its very small diameter, 2 The dye bleeds out on you fingers. Neither one of these things are bad. Its very smooth. I don't think there was 500 yds on this spool. As thin as this stuff is I was afraid it wouldn't hold up, boy was I wrong. I pulled a 6' log 8" in diameter from the bottom of a neighbors pond. I take a knot really well. So far I like it. I haven't found any reel issues with this line as of yet.

50 lb
I got the 50 lb braid for frogging and punching the really nasty stuff. The lily pads have finally grown in and they put this line to the test. I was able to land plenty of bass without having worry about the quality of the line. It cast great. It comes off the spool smoothly. At $30, for a 500 yard spool, this is a great deal!
