I was advised that these wouldn't work very well, but actually they made the job a breeze - well that part of it anyway. I used the larger one to get the offside strut out and no problems at all. Accidentally used the smaller one on the nearside and got the strut out although it took a bit more effort - with the larger one, the new one slid back in easily.Having seen plenty of videos of people using chisels/screwdrivers/hammers - I think these are well worth the price even for just one job.

Works like a charm, and takes 20 minutes off each job, a must-have. Good quality.

Fit for using on skoda front suspension.

Good little tool that was recommended by a work colleague. Makes changing broken Coil Springs so much easier. No more hammering and struggling to separate the Strut assembly from the Hub. Could have done with this handy little tool 20 years ago.

This was used to remove the shocker on a transit van and also on a vauxhall car .Save time and stop the chance of snapping the clamp .After using several times there is a small amount of wear on the corner but overal its a good item .

Good sockets do what there designed for especially for tight shock absorbers and ball joints would recommend.

I purchased these to open up the hub carrier on my T5 campervan T28 when overhauling the front suspension. Worked perfectly, just slot in, rotate with a ratchet and the strut is free to be removed.

Used on car suspension and ball joint replacement. Very handy tool to have.Thumbs up from me
